Aerowyn: *taps her way across a large, felled log, enjoying the deep drumming sound it made* Ooooh ya... now THAT'S a beat...! *grins and continues to drum along* Andres: *eras perk as he hears a beat, almost like a drum. Goes to investigate and sees a female is playing around with it. Grins and goes to the other side of the log and begins to copy her rhythm..* "What was that about a beat Bella?" Aerowyn: *so into her beat that she barely realizes that someone else is there until they speak* Uhhu?! *jumps in surprise and flops off the log in an unceremonious heap, glaring up at the arrival through the foliage* Hey... don't you know not to sneak up on herla like that! You could'a got a horn in your eye if you were any closer! *frown... pause* Were you drumming just now?

Andres flinchs slightly as the female startles herself and falls off. Ending up in a patch of foliage. Bitting his lip, the Herla tried to keep a straight face. Not really taking her warning to heart. Heck, maby having only one eye would look cool? He perked as she asked him a question. The male heels related the beat, having remembered it surprisingly.
"Yes, though without you I would have never heard it." He smirked, looking down at the mutant Herla. Even for a mutant she was quite the sight. A little demonic looking, but just his style in a female. Being a known rebel, Andres liked the odd ones. Plus she looked like a cool person.
"You like music?" it was his turn to ask, doing his own beat this time. It was faster then the original one, his body moving fluently to it. Giving one last tap, he chuckled and awaited for the female's reply.

Aerowyn watched the new buck through narrowed eyes, her fur bristling in apprehension as he tried not to laugh at her. It was his fault she was in the leaves in the first place! If he hadn't been skulking around like some creep, she wouldn't have fallen off her stage... no good, creepy, ingrate! With a quiet snarl she stood up and shook her fur out, looking him over with disdain. That is, until he began to tap again. The frown never leaving her face, she watched with interest for a moment. He wasn't a practiced drummer, that's for sure... but he had beat in his hooves. She'd never met anyone who wanted to try doing what she did. They always laughed and told her she looked silly, or didn't hear the beat.
"Ya, I do like music. What's it to you?" she spat and jumped back onto her log so that she towered over him slightly. With an experimental tap, she continued, "You think you've got rhythm? Not just any stray buck off the street can tap..." As he finished his beat, Aerowyn launched into her own tizzy of tapping, ending it with the back flip that she had practiced with Siedel for so many moons-- half the scars on her back were from her failed attempts at that trick. Standing there in a huff, Ara eyed the new buck with a gleam of challenge in her eyes. She would admit that he was good, but not as good as she was!
