• Please do not harass the colorists at all.• Do not request a slot when they are closed. Do not beg.• Refunds are only optional when the colorist is unable to complete an order.• If a colorist decides that they do not want to do your concept, they have the right to refuse. Please do not push the issue.• Be sure you're content with what's one your form before you send it. Spamming the colorists with multiple changes only confuses and saddens them.• If you want a WIP or two (but no more than two, let's not get crazy here), be sure to request it.• If you do get a WIP and something doesn't meet your expectation/vision, politely inform the artist of the issue and try to give as much detail as possible to help them correct it.• In regards to the above rule, if the edit in question means the artist has to rework the whole Herla (or severely change it in some fashion) then it will probably not happen. For example, if you asked for your Herla to be on certain lines and, upon seeing the WIP, do not like the way they look on those lines? Tough. You'll have to live with it.

These guidelines have been instated to keep the designs of pets and familiars within the original scope of the Hart and Hind universe. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns about any of these, please PM Poisin Ivy Josephine. Clothing and AccessoriesTry to keep the generally design of any herla within the scope of the world. Avoid futuristic or overly ‘mod’ designs such as bright raver designs (these can easily be toned down by slightly dampening the colors, aging the clothing/accessories, or adding some tribal, post-apocalyptic or steampunkish items), futuristic clothing (spandex, plastic-looking armor pieces, hi-tech looking cyborg bits), or very clean-cut, crisp clothing. A few tears, setting appropriate accessories, and/or stains can go a long way to help keep herla designs within the scope of the world.
Preferred / Supported Themes: • Natural / Nude • Fantasy / Medieval / Fairytale • Post-Apocalyptic Piecemail • Steampunk (using modern or older parts only, no futuristic items) • Tribal / Aboriginal • Tattered Clothing from our Timeline • Mild Frontier / Victorian / Pirate • Mild Period Cultural • Mild Horror ThemesMutations, Tattoos and Paint• Avoid anything obviously futuristic (laser guns growing out of their back, futuristic cyborg limbs, etc). Anything that is seen in our time period or before is acceptable (barcodes, some simple robotics, etc.).
• No blatantly overpowered mutations. There should not be any Herla made from mist, shooting eye-lasers, or exhibiting any other mutation that is not relatively easily countered by another Herla or balanced out with some kind of handicap.
• No offensive or overly grotesque designs (racist/drug imagery, extreme gore such as entrails, any sort of sexual imagery, etc). Remember to keep everything within the bounds of the thread rules.Cosplays• No direct cosplays, mostly pertaining to costume. Mutations without costume (IE the Pale Man, Poke-Herla) are fine, though setting appropriate accessories are encouraged. We're trying to move away from the blatant cosplays and more to the 'inspired by character x' customs. If the original design of the cosplay easily fits into the Herla world (for example a Mad Max cosplay), this rule can be flexible.
• Try to keep the likeness between 60-75% and make sure to stay within the colorist guidelines for creating customs. This also applies to cosplays for events.
• If the cosplay has an attribute that is not at home in a post apocalyptic world inhabited by sentient deer, then either leave it out or change it so it is.
• Cosplays must be approved by senior staff.

Breedings can be between any two herla. The result of the breeding will be 2 thickets. If a third thicket is desired it must be acquired through other in-shop means (they will mainly be offered as RP rewards, event prizes and by use of liquid love).SimplePrice: 750k Both parents are simple-edit herla, or if the parents are medium+ and the owners wish the babies to be simple-edit herla. Simple-edit herla are defined in the Custom Pricing section.MediumPrice: 1 mil Both parents are medium-edit herla, or if the parents are heavy+ and the owners wish the babies to be medium-edit herla. Medium-edit herla are defined in the Custom Pricing section.HeavyPrice: 1.3mil Both parents are heavy-edit herla, or if the parents are extreme and the owners wish the babies to be heavy-edit herla. Heavy-edit herla are defined in the Custom Pricing section.ExtremePrice: 2mil Both parents are extreme-edit herla. Extreme-edit herla are defined in the Custom Pricing section.
• If the parent herla are of different complexities, the artist will roll for which parent each baby will “follow” in terms of complexity. The price of the breeding will then be the average of the two types. (Ex. A heavy parent and medium parent might get a heavy and medium baby. The price would then be 1.3mil + 1 mil / 2 = 1.15mil.)
• If owners have Medium, Heavy, or Extreme herla and either cannot afford or do not wish for babies as complex as their parents they can ask to have them BOTH be one to two (if possible) levels simpler.
