Hey, I'm Thomas, and I've been up waaaaaay too ********' long.
(I don't know if I mentioned the whole 'curse a lot thing' but that's something I do that you can't stop.)

I'm going to be remaking a roleplay of this one guy I know, and I was gonna ask some preliminary questions in advance.

1. The current setting seems to be medieval/fantasy. Buuuut I was thinking of changing it to a tri-mix of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Steampunk (and a little bit of romance because characters do that; it won't be plot-centric though I think). Should I? Yay? Neigh?

2. Are there any people out there who're good for playing villains? I'm currently playing a character who's.... not really a villain, and yet he still has more character than the stereotypes I see in the RP [that I'm gonna remake]. It irks me that everyone immediately pussies out and goes all "hurr hurr my guy is good but fights 4 bad because no reason hurr hurr dur." Villains that are intended to be feared and hated deserve just as much character development as heroes that are intended to be loved and respected.

If anything was spelled incorrectly, it could be [a] because I've been up about 32 hours and have yet to sleep (which I'm going to soon), or I wrote it that way for sarcasm and don't much care.

Regardless, please post here and lemme know your opinions.

Uhh, thanks!

I absolutely endorse restarting a roleplay you love! (Dark Hearts and City Streets is a repop of a roleplay I love with the main character dynamic outlines and still room for people to come in and make the characters their own. And I have restarted the repop at least twice v.v)

As for chracters, I am a bit of a conisour of bad guys! lol I am fairly good at them, at first out of necessity (my former roleplaying group my was my group of high school girl friends who couldn't write convincing guys or bad guys >.>) but having gotten some skill at it, I do rather enjoy it. So I can if you like. I am gender indifferent so far as writing is concerned, the only exception being when I pass 15 active characters of the same gender v.v (I like to keep active under 20 so they don't blur, and probably fewer now that I work full time.)

I think it's an excellent thing to remake a Role Play.

Also, I love to Role Play Villains. They tend to be very sadistic and cruel.
With a good mix of false politeness and manipulative mindsets.

I play a lot of villains, both the feared and hated and the kind that are hidden (acts like a good guy but he's actually screwing everything up without many knowing about it XD Those are the most fun)

But when I do play them, they are baaaaaaad....like very sadistic, messed up, twisted kind of bad >.> So yea. Just depends on what your looking for. ^^
