A B O U T _ T H E _ P A C K Species: dire wolves (Canis dirus)
Naming: generally from a Serbian descent, as the pack name of "мртав срца" (Mrtav Srca) means "Dead Hearts" in Serbian. Not having a Serbian like name is allowed, but generally only seen with those who were not blood born into the pack.
Coloring: this pack is heavily natural based.This means whatever you would see on any natural creature around you. Having a unnatural color is able to put the pack into risk of leading a human into the territory, and thus causing the pack to reassemble somewhere else, whether if good or bad.
Territory: the tundra. (will add more info later)

P A C K _ H I S T O R Y One by one, barks were heard in the air. The firing of material were thrown in the air, and the Mrtav Srac Pack was into war. What more could be done than to protect the lands they have owned for the past few generations before the twoleggers arrived? This was wolf territory, anyways.
All the wolves were taken away, whether to be tamed as pets, or killed for warmth or protection. No canine survived that night. That was, all but three. An omega named Cilibar, and two pups of different litters - Iro, the daughter of the alpha, and Kamenji, the son of Cilibar's sister. The omega knew that the only way the two pups would live was through her care.
And so it was. Cilibar watched over the two, telling them stories of the pack they hardly knew of, trying to live the tradition of the pack and such. The three traveled the lands, but Cilibar was always confident that they would return back to their homeland one day. One day.
It was about two years of wandering until Cilibar stopped. They ended up on a wild tundra, with not much sense of life, but the omega said that this was their home. The twoleggers must have traveled on, leaving the land for good.
And so this is the ending of a beginning, but the beginning of an ending too. After hearing about the omega's passion for the pack and such, Iro thought it would be right if she were to take her rightful spot - the alpha of the pack, with Kamenji by her side, and Cilibar as their adviser, promoted out of the omega status.

R A N K I N G S Alpha/Alfa (алфа) the ruler of the pack. This wolf is responsible for all pack affairs, whether border markings to hunting grounds, to just making sure that ceremonies and such are preformed properly. [1/1]
Beta (бета) the ones who watch over the doings of the alpha, making sure that everything is going along smoothly, and that the pack is in peace with one another. It is the betas who have the second to highest power in the pack. [0/2]
Adviser/Savetnik (саветник) the adviser to the alpha and betas. This wolf has the third highest ranking of power, for the officials come to this wolf for practically every matter, whether minor or major. This wolf also tends to the aid of the rest of the pack, but its main priority are the alpha and betas. [1/1]
Oracle/Prorocanstvo (пророчанство) the pack healer and stargazer. This wolf is granted with the ability to see life in ways that a typical creature would not. Rank only obtainable through discussion with the higher three ranks. [0/4]
Generals/Generali (генерали) the heads of war. It is the responsibility of the generals to make sure that all warriors are ready and fully trained for the battlefield. [1/2]
Warriors/Ratnici (ратници) self explanatory [0/unlimited]
Prey Feeders/Plen Hranilice (плен хранилице) the head of the hunters. It is the responsibility to make sure that every pack member is properly fed before the prey feeders have eaten a meal. [1/2]
Hunters/Lovci (ловци): self explanatory [0/unlimited]
Denners (деннерс) a temporary ranking for she-wolves only. This is for she-wolves who have pups, are expecting, or are just the pack's breeding machine. [0/5]
Apprentices/Pripravnici (приправници) teenaged wolves. Apprentices are able to train into the ranking that they desire (and if the position is available!), under the guidance of a mentor (another wolf in that current ranking). All rogue wolves wanting to join (whether adult or teen), will start off as an apprentice. [0/unlimited]
Pups/Stencis (штенци) the newborns of the pack. Here, they will be watched under the care of their assigned Denner until they have reached the age of being apprenticed.[0/unlimited]
Elders/Stariji Ljudi (старији људи) the oldest members of the pack. Elders are known for their wisdom of the day and such. Some of these elders are also part of the alpha's council for guidance. All wolves who are considered to be "disabled" for life will be brought into eldership too, from a resignation of rank from their elite. [0/unlimited
Omegas (омегаc) the lowest of the low. Usually a wolf who was born into the pack, but has shown revolt in a way or two, but not yet banished. Any wolf in this rank becomes the pack's playtoys, where they will be used for the pleasure of others. They also tend to be Denners without the pups. Even though this is a low rank, they are still respected in the pack.[0/unlimited]

T R A D I T I O N S Birth of the Heart/Rođenje Srca (Рођење срца) The very beginning of a wolf's life. This is where the trialing comes in where the mother and father of the pup(s) make the grand decision - Where do they want their pup(s) to be ranked in the future? This also consists of a naming ceremony, where the mother will present the names of her males, and the father will do the same with his daughters.
Tending the Heart/Nege Srce (неге срце) Now that the pup has reached the age of teenager, the alpha will give names of mentors to each pup that they will be put under the care of. Apprentices that do not follow their mentor's directions will have one of the following punishments: telling of the mother/father ; talk to the elite of the rank ; speak to the alpha. If disobidience continues, the apprentice will be demoted to omega.
