» Not much was known of Vexant's passed. It is simply known that his village was destroyed in the heat of battle during the Eternal Shinobi War between the 5 Great Nations. He eventually cast aside all human feelings and became an experimental weapon for Akatsuki, slave to their bidding. His partner was Maxtion.

"MaXtion" (max-shi-un) / "Ryu Aokawa" [ Village Hidden in the Mist ]» [ Akatsuki Member #6 ]
» Unlike his younger brother, Ryo Aokawa, Ryu chose to take a different path. When they were both much younger he betrayed his clan and attack his brother, leaving him for dead before fleeing the mist village. He currently lives as a member of the criminal organization, Akatsuki, for reasons unknown. He is a genius in the shinobi art and silent most of the time. He is unamused by shinobi below Tokubetsu Jonin rank, including his younger brother whom he constantly refers to as a weakling. The codename he uses originated a man whom he met as new rogue before deciding to join Akatsuki. This man trained him and was named Kaguya, Minato. When choosing his new alias, he re-arranged the letters of Minato's name and added the signature "X"
