However, Mikami has learned how to utilize her keikei genkai in her medical profession, where she is able to wrap her chakra around her allies, putting them in a human sized orb which acts as a healing cocoon. The first seven years of her life were spent with her parents. They were doctors and would travel the globe, going wherever they were needed. Mikami spent most of her time watching from the sidelines, quietly observing her mother and father while they worked. She had seen many things, but one she could never forget was the faces of those who had lost hope, feeling they had nothing left to live for. They had all the medical knowledge in the world, anything from cures to psychologists, but it could not save those who no longer had the will to live. Mikami was eager to help, but her parents would never allow her to go off on her own, doing what they did, especially at the age of seven.
Instead they wanted her to stay and continue studying Biotechnology and the like. Of course Mikami's thirst for knowledge and the real world was too strong to be swayed by the warnings of her parents. She started looking for a way out.
It wasn't long before she discovered the existence of her Uncle Hyde, whom already had a successful establishment on another continent. Her parents unknowing of what sort of person he really was had reluctantly granted Mikami her wish, after she mentioned they had one of the best medical schools in the world. So they sent her off to Purgatory, the place where she had lived and worked as a fellow shinobi for a whopping eight years. Over the years her thirst to help those in need had intensified to the point where she didn't care if her client was rude or unstable, she'd fix them and the world- just like her uncle fixed people, right? Her goal is to become the Head Medical Technician of the Panacea Corporation.
