((So, I thought we needed a room as such because well some of us have love stories as of lately and some of us have tales of woe. I'm not sure I like the title of this room yet. If you have a better name for the room. Please pm me. Although here we shall unleash our hearts. Both the good and bad stories. A topic room a work in progress. Bare with me but please talk away!))

And I know the feeling- my boyfriend is currently states away from me, back in my home town. It's tough- But we're making it through! So Luna- I say let's get through this together! So we both can eventually be with the ones we love! =3Sorry if this is pretty random...... >,~,>

Adon and myself are states away. I am a little rusty with the whole long distance relationship thing. Trust me. We took our time thinking if this was the right direction for us both. It wasn't something we thought of over night. Once we were both confident we could stand the distance and time between us. That was when we both knew the time was right. As they say "absence makes the heart grow fonder". And yes, let's get through this together! We are a great support team! Because one day we will both be in the arms of the one we love.

Woes are a harsh things to own, they're the thorns amongst roses. For such a beautiful sounding word, it can cause a mountain of pain. weird isn't it ?

hmm.... I am pretty sure my woe stories out weight my love stories sad *sigh* well at least i have a future as on the show mountain men, just have to grow a beard and isolate myself in the middle of no where in the Canadian in a snow mountain somewhere with like 10 Alaskan elk hounds. now I just need to start on the beard thing somehow neutral cool

Ahhhh yes, woes are indeed harsh things to own. Although they can quite often disappear like a cloud but brew like a storm when we get hurt again. Woes are like that of thorns amongst roses. So beautiful to behold but can cause plenty of pain. One can think deeply into such a word of which has a nice sound when saying but causes us so much pain at one point or another. It's unfortunate but some of these tales of woes are our life lessons of the heart.Learning to becareful who we might allow to get close to our hearts. In one moment everything might seem peachy dandy and than the next they are not "who" they percieved to be or who you met in the beginning. A tale you and I obviously know all too well it seems.
Now, I have my own experienced my own tales of woe. One which left me hurt pretty bad. Like all my tales of woe I have learned from them all. The walls go back up and when someone wants to enter my heart. They have barriers to break down before getting to warm center of me.
Luckily, I have met someone who has had an amazing amount of patience. Since the day we had have been talking was the day he began to break down those barriers and walls I protected myself. Obstacles still remain for us both but my heart is at peace. My heart finally has a keeper. A locksmith with his own perfectly fitted key to my heart. May he take care of it well. As I will take care of his.
And what is this talk about growing a beard and isolating yourself with 10 alaskan elk hounds. Goodness. What am I gonna do with you. I promise. If and when I move up with Adon. We'll come for visits. I need to learn how to drive and than I can go up for visits. ^^

Alright let's see...
I met my boyfriend in high school of freshman year but I did not know him too well then. We also went to the same middle school but funny how neither of us knew the other existed. Lol! ... Anyways, Leo and I did not even talk until our sophomore year because we ended up having two classes together and helped each other on homework. Well, I helped him more since he did that at the last minute. Oh goodness. Of course, we only started out as acquaintances to becoming friends. Since during my freshman and half of my sophomore year I was with my ex but that relationship did not end nicely and I had to let him go since he decided to give up. But that story is for another time...
So, three months after I broke up with my ex did Leo decided to ask me out and we went out on our first date. He also told me that I was the first girl he liked that said yes to going out on a date with him. But, we only went out on that "one" date because I wasn't ready for a boyfriend just yet. But we continued on as friends texting through the summer. Then for some reason during the end of July we stopped texting. But, as it came closer to Leo's birthday on August 14th did we start texting(talking) again. Also, right on his birthday is when my cousin and Nina decided to get me a kitten. That calico of mine, Tiger Lily. What a great day it was. 4laugh My little baby Tiger Lily.
So, Leo and I talked on some more and feelings blossomed. During our junior year. So on November 7th is when we got together. And Leo and I have been together for two years now... I get along with his family that they spoil me. He does too but he can't believe how spoiled I get. He has been there through my worst and happy moments. I am grateful to have him in my life. As he has mention the same.... We also joke around with one another and we like to argue but in a good way. It's a good thing too that he and my sister Luna get along. We can be a silly trio but he and I together are also a funny duo that my sister can't help but shake her head at. Lol!
At the moment, since my family and I lost our house, he has been taking care of my cat Tiger Lily. My cat has grown to like him and he has notice how much my cat and I are apparently a like. Lol! I told him, "Don't blame me, that girl came to me that way." But since she's been living with him and when I go and visit, Tiger and I are getting along a whole lot better. So I am grateful to that monkey butt boyfriend of mine. Lol! Oh, and my boyfriend is just a year older then me but we graduated in the same year, 2012.

ya.. me with a long a** beard, shooting deer, bear, bob cats etc maybe a few rabbits and get in the old fur trade. and be all like: my names Scruffy, I hunt in these der' parts. these yer' is mu hunt'n grounds. Dogs running after game and guarding the cabin!

I may have to join you up in the mountains just for how freaking AWESOME that kind of sounds. And badass.
It seems to me that everyone has many tales of woe. I suppose it is how we learn what we need for ourselves in a relationship, and what we need to give in return. Personally I am quite lucky to be with my boyfriend. We met in first year as we were on the same floor in residence. However while everyone on my floor partied together during orientation week, I was gone the entire time! Rather than focus on just the floor, I left to meet others in the arts faculty and was thus rarely seen by my floormates. So during the first week of classes I started trying to get to know everyone else. My birthday is always during the first week of classes, and so my roommate planned out a huge surprise for when I got home from night class (Philosophy of gender). Three male strippers and birthday cake. I don't think I have ever been so embarrassed in my entire life! But lucky for me, one of the boys she convinced to strip is now my boyfriend. Unfortunately my entire family saw the video on Facebook, minutes after it was posted. Nik is still known as the stripper in my family... His parents don't know the real story of how we met, but we have been promised by friends, it will be shown if we ever get married.
It has been four years since he asked me out, and five since we've been friends. Now we have an apartment together and have started a life. It is kind of insane!
Also Luna please come visit! You can get a two for one package deal!

WooT! lady we can carve things outta ivory and stuff and grow manly beards together!! smile I am laughing at your story ONLY because it reminds me of that " magic mike" movie.no disrespect intended. just think in two years you'll technically be married, common laws. since you become common laws legally after you live 2 years together XD LUNA ! you should come, though I live three hours away from Toronto I probably could work something out. The Canadian peeps are waiting heehee

Lol. Than the Canadian Goat Goddess have spoken Adon. Once I come up to Vermont. They shall be expecting my visitation and arrival. Of coarse I would want to come up and visit my Canadian peeps.
