PERSONALITY

Likes: Kiyoshi enjoys running. Seriously. He didn't have much to do when he was younger but run. Some of those shop keepers were pretty fast too.
Kiyoshi actually enjoys trying to improve things. Namely himself, but he hasn't found a way to do that yet.
Dislikes: Setbacks and obstacles. Kiyoshi hates anything or anyone who tries to get in his way or tell him his beliefs are wrong. He has a high competitve streak in him and always works to succeed.
Really positive people. Things are not all wonderful despite being in the more peaceful part of the world and Kiyoshi looks at everything in the worst possible angle to try to fix every problem.
Hobbies: Kiyoshi enjoys working and training, seeking to better himself and finding a way that he can somehow create a way for him to not have to worry about chakra radiation and his intake of water.
Kiyoshi loves books and learning. He figures that any information he can obtain will lead him to his goal of fixing and purifying water. He's not afraid of going lengths to get this information either.
Fears: Losing the few friends that he has. Zenaida and the orphanage that he was raised in for most of his life mean the world to him as they are the few that accept him.
Nindo/Goals: To solve the radiation problem with the water and thereby grant him freedom from having to worry about it.
Extra: Despite working very hard every day, Kiyoshi has lots of doubts and voices them often about actually finding a way to purify water of radiation. Despite this, he keeps a steady head and works hard anyway, though he often relys on others to help motivate him.
Fatal Flaw: Growing up on the streets and living by his father's words, Kiyoshi is very wary of newcomers and strangers. Trusting others is always a challenge for him as he hasn't had many friends that truly care about him. Because of this, Kiyoshi doesn't open up to others(unless he's complaining about something). The only exception is when a possible solution to his goal is presented, then every caution is thrown out the window and Kiyoshi will do whatever it takes to obtain the information available.

Life Story:
Kiyoshi grew up on the streets. He was always poor, usually scrounging what he could from others, making friends with the locals wherever he may be at the time. His father worked whatever small job he could find and his mother did likewise. They raised him to be a good person, to help others where he could as someday they might repay that kindness. His father would always tell him, "The ends fit the means." and Kiyoshi took that to heart, trying to do good where he thought would help him later on.
His family soon couldn't find many jobs left and his father was forced to start doing petty crime to get by. His mother took to the streets, offering passerby whatever to get money, even if it meant selling herself for the night. Kiyoshi saw this change and asked his parents the reason they had turned down the less savory path. His father sighed and explained to him that sometimes things had to be done to get by, even when they were wrong.
Eventually, his father's actions caught the wrong attention and his father was killed. His mother witnessed his father's death and overhearing that the men were going to kill her and her son, she quickly sent Kiyoshi out and away to protect him. By the time Kiyoshi returned, his mother was dead and at the young age of 5, he was dropped into an orphanage. Things were tough for Kiyoshi here. Other children had heard of what had happened, listening to the rumors that flew around. Because of this, Kiyoshi didn't have any friends for a while.
The only one who was kind to him was another girl,Zenaida, who was there because her parents had died too. She was a little airheaded, but Kiyoshi appreciated the girl, glad that someone could be his friend. When Zenaida was bullied, Kiyoshi always stepped in before the lady who took care of them could reach them. His presence would quickly disperse her tormentors and he would remain with her until the lady in charge of the orphanage would arrive.
Kiyoshi had no grand designs to be adopted and no one who came to the orphanage even looked his direction. When he reached the age of 14, the caretaker decided he would start helping the orphanage with errands and he gladly accepted as he was able to get the best first pick of any food that was given out. One day, while heading back to the orphanage, Kiyoshi was ambushed by some men who were looking for money and food. Kiyoshi did his best to protect the food he had, but one of the men stabbed him in the side. The man gasped as water exploded from the boy instead of blood. Kiyoshi quickly broke the man's grip and knocked his teeth in, quickly escaping as the men tried to recover from their shock.
When Kiyoshi returned to the orphanage and pulled the knife out, his body closed back up and returned to normal, his skin not broken at all. He went to the lady caretaker and explained what had happened. The lady didn't believe him until he stabbed his arm and the same result happened. The woman quickly took him to a doctor, who explained that this was an old ninja technique that was passed down through the generations and had somehow survived through time. Since that time, Kiyoshi found that his thrist was never sated. He constantly needed water. After a time, the chakra radiation began to affect him and he was forced to return to the hospital. The doctors quickly came to the conclusion that Kiyoshi would have to come habitually to have radiation removed from his system.
Kiyoshi hated this and searched for a way to free himself of this problem. Eventually his search led him to a ninja who suggested he attempt to learn ninjutsu to try to control his power. He began to train and learn to fight better. After a time, he discovered that Zenaida had become a nurse and made it a point to see her whenever he went to the hospital. He works now to figure out a way to become self-sufficent and protect the few things he cares about.
