Hello everyone (or the few that are here haha) just wanted to make this fast little thing so we can talk about the newest Pokemon game, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y!
I do believe this is the first Pokemon game that is going to be released in both Japan and America at the same time! Cool right? (or maybe just cool to me...) anyway the release date is marked on my calenders and now there's just the wait until October 12th.
So, questions, questions~ What do you think so far about the games based on the news and trailers? What game do you want? Lastly, what's your favorite starter?

I...have really mixed feelings about this.
First, I think the "Mega Evolution" thing is kind of stupid. I personally would rather just see new evolutions, especially for those Pokemon that never had an evolved form. *cough*Absol*cough*
I also overall don't like the new Pokemon designs that much. Now that I think about, I don't find the character designs too appealing, either. (Then again, I've thought so before, and I'm fine with what there is now :/)
I also think that it's a bit late in the series to be adding a new type. Adding types in 2nd Gen was okay because of the Gen 1 Pokemon, only Magnemite and Magneton had type changes. Now we have to worry about finding out which Pokemon had type changes and whatnot.
Seriously, what's with having to pay to have a service to transfer and store Pokemon from 5th Gen?
When it comes to good stuff, I guess I'm just excited for a new game. Pokemon games usually mean good times. Although what I really want most is 3rd Gen remakes.
tl;dr: I don't know, I just want 3rd Gen remakes.

It's not just for Japan and America that it is being released same day. This is a World-Wide same day release. And i'm excited. I was kinda eh about black and white when they first came out. I am going for Y. The new type has me in semi mixed feelings but it could be cool. It wasn't just adding a type that changed, but also the effective chart. Im going for fennkin or maybe frookie but that depends on the later evolution of frookie. I haven't watched the trailers and i just check into the news every now and then since i preordered. Before then it was more to figure out which version i wanted lol. Have to add that i would love a remake of 3rd gen, though that could be that was the last time i beat the main story of a pokemon game. I get so distracted and have so many games i love to play now ^^; that and i'm horrible at finishing games.
