I'm glad you found a person you like! ^__^
My advice though; if you're looking for advice, would be to continue to be a good friend to him and not push things or force anything to happen faster than natural. If he's the one for you, it'll happen on its own. Of course I've had this situation as well.
Maybe a story will make it easier for me to explain my ration behind not pushing things. Back in highschool, I met this guy named Sam. He was dating a girl already.. But we were great friends. We had the same twisted sense of humor, liked the same things, and got along really well. So I remained friends and supported his relationship. Then, the girl dumped him in a 'Dear John' letter. He was heartbroken and often came over to my house for comfort. I just tried to be there for him. And soon after, he asked me out. We broke up after four years, but mutually. We both wanted to see other people. But I wouldn't give up the precious, fun, angst filled moments we had together for anything. Even though he wasn't the one for me, I still had a lot of fun being his friend.

So in conclusion I guess, I'd say to (cheesy advice approaching...) listen to your heart and continue to be patient for him. It sounds like you really like him,and a broken heart is really hard to get over.. Try to be supportive of him. Pick him up when he falls down, and dust him off. He'll come around, I'm sure. ^o^

Good luck~! heart
