Current Plots (Drac is not a huge fan of over plotting- characters tend to do their own thing. However, she is happy to plot out situations and ways to concievably have things potentially happen. She can't promise anything. Here are some starter ideas for potential future connections)
Me. I am intelligent and observant. The only reason I am not the leader is because of my age and inexperience, which are valid concerns. Give them time.
Name Felix Mehr Gender Male Species Human Child Personality Felix doesn't understand the world around him. It- and the people in it- seem to operate by very strange rules. As such, ever since he was young, he has been keenly observing everybody and everything in an attempt to understand it. He's an intelligent, if aloof, kid, and has always done very well in school. But it's not the school of academia but of life that he is interested in. After many years of observation, he has concluded he is somehow 'better' than everybody else. While he will not say so to anybody's face, he has a sort of patronizing arrogance to him that has not helped him gain many friends. He doesn't really care about many people, but his sister is an exception. He thinks it is facinating how she makes her own rules. After the crash, he has turned his observing eyes out towards the Corleo and their contident. Being shy of physical labor, he has learned to hide and watch from concealment, noting down everything in his journal.
History Felix has always had the freedom to be whoever and whatever he wished, and he's always treasured that freedom. With a sister that was a failure in his mother's eyes, he was lavished and spoiled with just about whatever he wanted in an attempt to keep him amiable to the path she wanted for him. He did well in private school, but quickly became bored with his classes. He was given the best private tutor money could buy. He became bored with that and was allowed to construct elaborate projects. He met his sister when she attempted to reestablish contact with the family and has since become very attached to her. Strife between her and their parents prevented her from visiting often, so when she suggested that maybe they should go on a cruise together, he leapt at the oppurtunity to spend time with her, though he was certain that he would be bored. His ingenious methods of pleading convinced their mother to allow him to go with her.
When the boat crashed, he found himself intrigued by the giant magical lions. He had never been interested in fantasy, but here was something magic AND real. He has been watching them whenever he can find a spare moment to do so, and has been keeping notes in his journal about everybody and everything he's met.
Felix is a keen observer of the world. He tends to notice things others do not. His actual eyesight, however, isn't that good- it requires supplementing with glasses, which are not exactly a renewable resource here.
He only knows English for now, but is picking up Fiyuri quickly, by virtue of keen attention to the native speakers and his own malleable youth.
My sister- Beautifull, cunning, and so hopelessly out of place. I have noticed her tendancy to stick out like a sore thumb. I am fascinated by how she will react in a situation where NOBODY belongs. I am fascinated by her vibrant personality, and her skills... she is simply fascinating, my sister. And she doesn't even realize it.
Name Abhilasha 'Abby' Mehr Gender Female Species Human Adult Personality Abby may have calmed down since her teenage years and gotten herself a federal job, but she's still a rebel at heart.
History Abby has always been a bit of a rebel. She's never felt she fit in with the rest of society or even the rest of the world. In high school she, like many teenagers, turned against her successful and strict mother and her politician father and started to hang out with a 'bad crowd'. The sort of kids that were generally harmless but were into things like black clothing and too much makeup and tattoos and poetry and, yes, drugs- the exact antithesis of the clean, intelligent businesslike second-generation indian-american and successor that her mother wanted. Problem was, she didn't fit in there, either. She was too mature for the various teenage 'fringe' crowds and too immature for the college prep crowd. At some point, she attempted to travel the world in an attempt to find a place she could fit in, washed up back home, and not wanting to have to deal with her parents, joined up with the military. She hadn't thought much about what she would do after that, or during that, but one day she met a deaf person and all of that changed. They were a contractor and used an interpreter, but it wasn't the words that were said, but the things that were signed. Fascinated, she took ASL classes (paid for under a military education plan that she fought for), and took to it like no other language before it. After that, she tried out BSL and FSL and learned them to a T. She did hand excersizes and took interpreter classes. One day she recieved an invitation to be interviewed for the CIA. Turned out they were interested in a sign language interpreter (in part because they would be useful and in part because the ADA was on their case about being more accessible to deaf/hard of hearing people.) Her physical and other required skills were pretty good and she was hired into a low paying desk job and occasionally called in to interpret at speeches and the like. She still didn't feel like she fit in, but the community she found there was the closest she had ever come. Her mom had given up on her long ago, but she felt stable and confident enough to make contact with her younger brother. The first time they met in person, they hit it off extraordinarily well. She thought he was adorably eerie, and he found her fascinating. They developed a close bond based on siblinghood, respect, and honest affection for each other. One day, she found herself with a surprising amount of 'use it or lose it' leave, and realized that she could do something with it for her brother's upcoming birthday. She started to plan a trip with him in the loop the whole time (partially because he hated surprises and partially so that he could keep her mother from finding out). They only mentioned it to their mother a few days before the trip. She was upset, but they (or rather Felix) had planned out a way to convince her. After much arguing she was convinced. Perhaps she was willing to give her daughter a second chance. Maybe she just wanted to spoil her son rotten and a vacation with his sister meant she didn't have to lift a finger to do so.
So they left on a cruise.
And then were Shipwrecked. Since then, Abby hasn't known what the hell to do.

Skills and Abilities
Knows English, though she's not eloquent. Less so with Spanish and French- she doesn't take to spoken languages well, and was forced to learn what she did of Spanish and French by her mother. Out of neccesity, she re learned spanish and french to a passable degree (Spanish because of many friends who spoke it natively and French because she was learning French sign language.)
She is fluent in American, French, and British sign language. She would likely have learned more had she not crashed on a strange place full of giant magic lion things.
Perhaps this can come in handy, no pun intended.
She is also physically fit and militarily trained. Though she has no gun- the registered one she took with her sank with most of their luggage- she still has a combat knife and knows some unarmed combat. She's not superman and is probably outmatched against said bulky magic lions, but she's got fight in her and is scrappy.
She is athletic and has some survival training. So, while this isn't exactly an ideal situation, she's managing. Sort of. Training did not prepare her for taking care of a weird little brother or for magic.
