Here you can request a level up for your pet, if you are qualified. Each pet can only go up one level per month, unless he/she is eligible for a double level up.
Are you qualified?

- ♦♦♦ Did you get a new adult pet? An adult starts at level 2, unless they were at a higher level as a cub (rather unlikely). If you got a new adult pet, or if your cub became an adult, that pet is automatically at level 2.
♦♦♦ Have you done at least 500 words of RP for this pet during this month? You can't level up Bob by roleplaying some other pet for a million words. It has to be Bob's RP, either written from his point of view, or written from your human character's POV with Bob as the most important Corleo character.
If you want to level up multiple pets, you need 500+ words of RP for EACH pet you want to level up.
What counts as RP?

- ♦♦♦ Meta, Group, PRP, ORP: They all count.
♦♦♦ Instant Messenger PRP: This counts too! Simply copy and paste them into the RP forum. It's okay to have one person copying and pasting the whole thing into one post as long as each section is clearly labeled with a username, so we know which portion counts for your pet.
♦♦♦ Solo: Yes, you can use solo RP too, but here's a caveat. Up to 1/3 of the quota may be fulfilled with solo RP. So for example, if going up by one level, you can use up to 167 words from solo RP. The rest must come from non-solo RPs. This is true even if you write 3000 words of solo RP.
♦♦♦ Character History: Some people write detailed scenes for the history section of their pet's profile, and in some cases the only difference between the history and a solo RP is the location of the material (profile VS the RP forum). For the pet's first real level up, you may use the character history as a solo RP to fulfill 1/3 of the word count quota.
However, summary-like histories will not count. The history must be a scene written from the character's POV and include details such as observations, thoughts and dialogues. While a summary-like history is perfectly fine as a part of someone's profile, it is not suitable for level-ups. Whether the history is a 'summary' or a 'solo' is up to the staff's decision.
Not sure whether the history you've written can be used for a level-up? Does the profile perhaps contain both summary-like bits and scene-like bits? We strongly encourage you to ask the staff ahead of time. That way, if we say no, you'll still have time to RP and fulfill the quota.
♦♦♦ Ineligible RPs: RPs don't count if they contain blatant canon-breaking (or any other similar forms of OOC-ness) and/or any other violation of our RP rules or Gaia's TOS.
One level or two?

- ♦♦♦ Gain 1 level in a month: This is the norm. Each pet can only go up one level per month, unless he/she is eligible for a double level up.
♦♦♦ Gain 2 levels in a month: This is possible if you have done 900+ words if upping to level 1-3, or 1800+ words if upping to level 4-6. At least two of the posts should be from the same RP (this is to discourage people from starting numerous sessions only to abandon them).
