❦♥ The Castle of Red ♥❦

Deep within the sharpest of mountain ranges, a connecting range to those of the Country of Black, lies a castle the size of a kingdom. It rises to the sky with level upon level of intricate moldings and high, pointed towers. Flags fly on every tower, each bearing the House Red crest; a red background with a gold heart made of several rectangles laid out on top of each other, like cards.
On the outside, the castle is a light rose color, almost white, but pink instead, with red trim. On the inside, red marble floors run through out as the floors with a light pink marble as the walls. Tapestries are hung through the hall ways, long, sewn recounts of Red victories in battle that match life sized statues of great warriors born from the Kingdom of Red. A long hallway leads into a dizzying series of staircases and doors, all leading somewhere different, and at the center of the castle is a large tower that stretches upward and stands alone amidst the others. Inside this tower is the throne room, a large, extravagant, circular room with windows all around, except behind the thrones at the head of the room. Stand on a platform, two thrones sit, one smaller than the other, but both just as wondrous. Both are made of pink marble, dressed with lush, red velvet cushions lined in gold with glimmering golden silk draping. Around the room, in between the windows, are life sized statues of past kings and queens.
