⌚ The Clock Tower ⌚

A clock tower as big as a castle rises high in the center of Wonderland, seen from every country. Sharp edges of high rising towers and spikes make the Clock Tower appear, almost, church-like, resembling a Cathedral. Stained glass windows line the front of the tower, casting roses, clocks, dragons, skulls, mushrooms, and other such things across the floor in vibrant colors that can only be seen inside the tower. The large clock face on the front of the tower moves slowly in a twelve hour rotation, for a normal 24 hour day. However, on some days, the clock is stopped, though the hour bells still ring out loudly enough to be heard in every country. The large, mile long yard is delicately designed and carefully maintained t keep the grass as green as possible, the flowers as vibrant and healthy, the hedges all trimmed to perfection. Each stone of the cobbled path is cleaned daily and polished until they shine. The path lead from the Tower to the front gate, a large, cast iron gate with a large clock in the metal, interwoven with vines that wrap delicately to the hinges. The twenty foot walls that rise around the gate and sweep around the circumference of the circular land plot are riddled with thick vines of every type, flowering and not, poisonous and other wise. Throughout the yard are several large sun dials, each one decorated with flowers, vines, and various shrubberies, as well as a bench or two.
The inside of the Clock Tower is very different from the outside, however, just like most things in Wonderland. While the outside is very inviting, nobody but registered members of The Watchmakers is allowed inside the tower, with inspections and bag checks the moment someone walks in the door. Wooden floors, and white marble walls run throughout the building, dark tapestries hang on the walls featuring pictures of different areas throughout Wonderland. A spiraling staircase leads up to the upper levels, the walls sporting the crests of each of the Houses, and lastly the Watchmaker emblem at the top. A black flag with a gold and silver clock gleaming in the center. On each floor, the staircase stops in a different place, none of the levels being exactly above or below another, and each level contains long hallways that are filled with rooms, some offices, some bedrooms, some bathrooms, conference rooms, and some of the doors are simply locked to the world. From the bottom floor, a second staircase can be reached through a side hallway off he foyer. This staircase leads downward to more hallways, but these are filled with very different things. There are storage rooms filled with filing cabinets, dining halls, kitchens, bathrooms, and darker rooms. Rooms with magic circles embedded in the floor, blood stained walls, torture devices and medical equipment.
