i figured well since PT uses alot of ballets and terminology might as well have them explained to non-dancers such as yourselves! I mean you do have a right to know which is which so one doesnt get all befuddled with the french words to describe every movement.
you see, ballet is very hard and there is much competition to see who will be picked for YAGP or the higher levels. Girls may look at you in disgust because you may not be up to their standards and level.
trust me....it happens to me every time i go to central school at orlando ballet school....its tough but you get better.

My cousin is a dancer, so when I go to see her perform I get a taste of the dance world. Even with kids, the competition is tense @_@.
I think a ballet dictionary would be a good idea! You can make a thread for it if you want. Or, if you would rather have a mod make one, I could do that for you. It would be easier if you did though, because then you could edit your own post and add terms when you want.

We already have something similar to that in the Chatterspace. You can make the thread yourself, just make sure to put it in the appropriate spot ^^.

or how about we do a part where like drosselmeyer (sp?) we make up our own tragic stories like he did. it can vary from elaborate to simplistic. Because in his world tons of stories were put together but the most outstanding one was of the prince and the raven. ^.^ oo! and then we can rate them or something of the sort.
