My Amane Misa Cosplay that looks more like the live action actress. I haven't actually seen the movie. Let's just call it 'Ero Lolita' since I don't look like Misa? I'll post more pics because I plan on wearing it. For now you'll have to deal with a headshot.

*** Before you ask. 'Ero Lolita' is considered 'Erotic Lolita', it does not make it perverted or anything. It just means... Here: Click This Link For More On Ero Lolita Technically I should've have tried it since it was my first experience with the style in general. The reason I called it that was because of the lack of 'poofiness' in my dress as well as the torn leggings and leather jacket that are not in this image.

Sweet lolita would be tough one, I personally don't think I'm suited for it either and I also prefer the classic style. If you want to, then go and do it. That's what I'm trying to do now with my hair and eventually I'll have my fill of lolita clothing. whee I'm so excited!

Sweet lolita would be tough one, I personally don't think I'm suited for it either and I also prefer the classic style. If you want to, then go and do it. That's what I'm trying to do now with my hair and eventually I'll have my fill of lolita clothing. whee I'm so excited!

I generally see sweet lolita on smaller girls (short and literally smaller). Gothic lolita on taller women and so forth... since I'm decently tall... gothic lolita has looked best on me. I'm also often not described as cute xD but meh.

Hmmm... I'm on the short end(?) of average height (5'4) and pretty small/petit. In Japan, since it's primarily a Japanese fashion, I'm two inches above what's considered 'average'. So if we're talking about height... Idk. I'm not usually described as cute by most people. I have been called it by family and people in these guilds, just not by people I know in person. whee

You don't have to be 'cute', you're beautiful. I'd bet you make a wonderful gothic lolita as well as sweet. (Haven't seen pics)

Ah yes haha xD I'm not what you would consider "petite" ever. I have a bit of a bigger build but I think it suits me.

I'm considering finding old pictures or taking new ones of me in my lolita/punk/steampunk dresses/outfits. Dunno yet though.
