[ Eligibility ]

- ♦ Only adult pets may breed. Prospective parents need to have been adults for at least four weeks.
♦ One pet can only breed once in every two months. For example, if Bob and Bonnie had a litter in January, neither of them is allowed to apply for a breeding slot until March.
♦ Sometimes, we offer low luck (LL) only slots. The current definition of LL is having applied for breeding more than five months without success. Keep track of your breeding attempts! Once a LL couple breeds, their LL status is lifted, and their unsuccessful breeding attempt count resets to 0.

- ♦ Normal breeding: 20k per couple
In a normal breeding, gender and the litter size will be determined by RNG (plus any applicable bonuses, such as roleplay bonus). All other traits, such as colors, markings and edits, are completely up to the colorist.
If the parents are of different breeds, the breed of each baby will also be determined by RNG.
♦ Bribe breeding
Want to make sure the parents pass down their edits? A bribe breeding will let you do that! Check if the colorist is open for bribe breedings. You can also specify gender for each baby. For breed, ONE of the babies is guaranteed to be of the breed you want (as long as that breed is a possibility given the parents), although the rest of the litter will depend on the RNG for their breed.
[ Other Restrictions ]

- ♦ One person may only win one breeding slot per month.
If you own multiple pets, you'll need to pick one pet per month (or one couple, if you own both of the prospective parents).
♦ Each owner gets to keep ONE baby per breeding.
If the breeding results in more than two babies, the owners of the parents must give away the rest of the litter for free. If you don't have anyone to give it to, let us know and we'll give them away for you.
♦ No inbreeding.
Immediate family members (including adopted members), first cousins and close direct descendants/ancestors are off limits. No need to keep track of family trees; just be reasonable. You wouldn't want to procreate with your grandparents IRL, after all, right? ...Right?
♦ Concerning same sex couples:
You have two options here.
1) Apply for breeding just like a heterosexual couple would. The shop will provide an anonymous surrogate. Simply acknowledge that a surrogate was involved when you RP, if the issue arises. The offsprings will mostly inherit the traits of the parental couple, along with some random traits thrown in from the anonymous surrogate.
2) Apply with an actual surrogate. The owner of the surrogate must give you permission before you apply. If you wish to apply RP bonus to a surrogate breeding, the roleplays must be of the relationship of the couple, not of the breeding partner + surrogate.
