I have a entire campaign ready if anyone is interested. It takes place in my custom campaign setting and only requires level 1 characters that aren't created using a random character generator. I would like the characters to be gestalt please. It will take place in the guild for I don't have a webcam to Skype with. Please post in this thread to let me know if you're interested. Thank you.
Plot/ Story basis.
It takes place in my custom campaign setting. The world is called Cornairia and the land you will be adventuring in is called Arkuria. Arkuria is mostly ruled by The Holy Tyrlian Empire. Only a few nations on Arkuria are not part of the empire. The characters will begin in the Kingdom of Tellmaire which is part of the empire though it still has a king and queen of it's own. I will give more details about the empire as the campaign goes on. But for now all that needs to be said is that the ruler of the Empire is the Empress Odium Vyn. The empire has three military branches, the legion, the navy, and the mighty Imperial Inquisitors that act as the right hand of the empress and answer only to her. Each nation of the empire has it's own military that can be called upon when needed. The Kingdom of Tellmaire is very important in the Empire for it sits on the eastern edge of the empire and borders two lands that threaten the empire. The Kingdoms of Retenah and Uroken the beast lands. In between Lays the forest of Grimwood, a vast nearly uncrossable forest of monsters and unknown horrors.
Deep within the Grimwood are the ruins of Val'korash. A call has gone from the King of Tellmaire for adventurers to escort and protect a group researchers who wish to excavate the ruins and hopefully reclaim it for the empire.

I'm really curious. Why do people think Skype requires a webcam?

Skype was made for webcams for one but that is not the point here. If you are really interested make a Gestalt character and show them to me. Also I am going to need about three players for this to work. I can Fill any roll we're missing with a NPC.

It also functions as a GREAT instant messanger I've been using for years. Lots easier to manage group chats on it than any other IM program I've used. Very rarely have I ever used a webcam with it, or even a mic.

Unfortunately, I've got more than enough d20 campaigns going at the moment for me, especially with me possibly starting another 2 (GMing/DMing) soon. So no.

Skype definitely provides a different environment for running D&D than a forum does. You get the nice faster responses, but have to get everyone online at the same time. It tends to have smaller text responses as well. Never done voice/video chat D&D on it before though, so dunno about that. Would I call either better than the other? No, I actually like both(and am in a couple of both).

Well if you're not actually interested in playing then why bother saying anything. I don't need pointless input.

If you have an intro or hook for your campaign, as well as the character requirements I can send out a guild notice for it to bring in anyone interested (in case they forget to check the guild forum).

Guild notice request information can be found here: Guild Notice Request Thread

Okay. Here is the hook. The characters go from what they think is a simple quest of investigating some ruins to saving all of existence fro being destroyed.
The charcter requirements are that they be gestalt and not made using a random character generator. I don't care about ECL so they can make almost anything they want but they must be level 1. It's taking place in a unique campaign setting of mine that has a lot of personalized features like a unique pantheon of gods and some custom races. It would be a great help if you could send out a guil notice about this. I only require a minimum of three players because I can fill in any roles with NPC's I have planned as part of the campaign. I will make the proper donation to the guild to pay for the notice right away.

3.5 It doesn't really work well with pathfinder because I plan to go into epic levels and pathfinder doesn't have any epic material.
