I've decided to grant a bit of leniency for fan fiction stories. I know this may seem strange, especially since my opinion of fan fiction stuff really hasn't changed. However, I've decided that just dashing it outright can come across as a bit hasty. So, I will allow and welcome fan fiction work (this includes stories, songs or poetry) but only under very specific conditions.

1: Follow the normal forum rules

2 razz rove you know enough about the subject matter to justify your work and prove you can pay homage to it properly and not butcher it just to serve your own fantasies. This means no changing characters' genders, sexual orientations, or personality (the last is not quite as strict, if it serves the overall purpose well) and basic things like that. Remember, the world and characters in it do not belong to you, so you have no right to make drastic changes for no reason.

3:It must be sufficiently creative.

4:The second it becomes creepy (in a bad way), confusing or downright foolish, I will immediately delete it.

5: You must PM me and request permission, then PM a copy of it to me for approval before submitting it to the forum. If I do not respond or am unavailable, PM the Captain, or one of the Vice captains such as Azure or Kharn, and they can approve it for you.

(To my fellow captains, I trust your judgment wholeheartedly, so no need to PM me about a request I miss unless you think it's necessary.)
