 Minoru stretched, stepping up to the playing field. Could it be called that...? He was well aware of a pair of gold eyes watching him from the side, glancing at the brown lioness with the blue eye markings. She gave a slight tilt of her head, smiling just slightly. Oh, she was just daring him to step wrong... Minoru looked back to his opponent for the duel, trying to puff up. Granted, yes, he was large-boned for a rogue, a gift from his father's genes... But he wasn't exactly muscular like some of the lions he'd seen.
Admittedly, he was a bit nervous. Nobody else in the Earth Clan had opted to join the Sky Ceremony. Nope, no pressure on Minoru here... Just him and him alone to try and bring his new clan a small bit of year-long glory. He swallowed his nerves down, trying to keep from jumping form paw to paw. "I'm ready when you are!" He couldn't remember his opponents name yet, sadly.
