"Hn." Iris took a step away from the table she was attempting to move and frowned. "Adele, sometimes I wish you were tangible just so I might ask your assistance in such matters as these!"
"Sorry, sis," Adele muttered. "Ain't like I got a choice in the matter."
Iris stepped away from the table and with a flick of her wrist a vase upon the table slid about four foot to the other side of the table, stopping perfectly in a functional place. The single purple flower that rest within the vase was barely disturbed. "Better," Iris commented with pleasure. A white canary in a cage towards the corner of the room tweeted idly.
The place was quite disheveled, but it had been much worse before Iris had begrudgingly gotten her hands dirty. The light was poor; after all, it was merely a storage shed Loch had been using as overflow storage for the Hostess Café. Iris, for lack of anywhere better to go currently, had asked Loch if he knew of anywhere better to stay, and Loch had graciously offered his storage shed in exchange for the guarantee that Iris would stop using Annis as a test subject for a while because the last time she hexed Annis her wings were blue and mismatched size for a week and Loch didn't like that very much. Sigh. Iris didn't see the issue in it that he did, but a deal was a deal. She could always test her new hexes out on Marina, after all.
Iris pulled a chair up to the table and reread the note she had sent out earlier. She had practiced her best handwriting for the letters, elegantly penning each one. 'Sickeningly flowery', as Adele had put it, complete with facetious gagging sounds.
In an effort to spare you, the reader, from any gag-inducing elaborate handwriting, her note read:
To :
If you have received this letter, you have been chosen for an elite organization and are cordially invited to the convocation. No, not like anything else you have ever been in before. Have you ever wanted to better your life, better the guild, better yourself? Please come to our meeting and we shall discuss the future, including your role in such an elaborate society. Arrive promptly at four: lateness will not be tolerated. To be an outstanding citizen, you must act like an outstanding citizen! I look forward to your presence. In addition to yourself, you may also invite anyone else along you deem worthy of joining. If you are to trust my leadership, I shall return the honor.
Awaiting your presence, Iris Isabella Rystda
She looked at the master list itself, which read: Rin ('the perfect student', scrawled beside her name) Blossom ('maybe? send her an invitation anyway') Julia ('must get to know her better') Venetia ('honestly, who is this?') David ('I must learn who these people are, it is most unprofessional of me to not know') Innes ('finally, a name I recognize! although I have not seen him in quite some time') Ephraim ('we must have some elegance among us! most definitely invited.')
Iris's gaze wandered up to the clock as the canary tweeted quietly in the background. It was approximately ten minutes until four. Soon, the invited parties would arrive, or so she hoped. Surely they would not pass the opportunity for purpose?

Originally, Blossom wasn't even going to respond to the letter she had received. She had handled her share of special organizations since Cloak, and her time was better spent working at the Cafe with Loch and Ganon. After everything with Derrin, the idea of anything like Cloak just made her uncomfortable. She was able to get most of her training with the Guard, anyhow, and she and Dietrich sparred multiple times a week. There didn't seem to be a reason to join an 'elite organization' like this. She probably wouldn't even be able to offer anything the others couldn't, anyway. She had been tempted to sit down and figure out a letter to send to Iris-- did she even know Iris very well? She was sure she had spoken to her before, but the name was only somewhat familiar-- until she realized Rin had gotten one, too. And she couldn't let Rin go alone.
Wouldn't hurt to at least see what this is about. If it seems okay, maybe I can just help out sometimes. Should be fine.
That was how she found herself standing outside the storage shed that Loch had previously used to store additional materials and such for the Cafe. She sighed and looked over at Rin. "Well, let's see what this is all about, right?" she asked, smiling wide for her friend. She took Rin's hand, squeezing it gently before knocking on the door. She paused a moment before pushing the door open. The little Hero peered inside, keeping Rin close. "Hello? Miss Iris?"

It wasn't often that Enailios got something like this. An invitation for an elite organization? Seemed a little farfetched to him, yet he had been a part of Cloak after all. After they disbanded, there really wasn't much outside of being his usual blacksmith self. He needed some kind of job other than that to get more experience with his fighting.
As such, he found himself moving towards the rendezvous point, figuring he could find out more about this...Iris. She certainly had a more fancy name after all. But there were some good points after all. "Just what can I do outside of my smithing?" He mused to himself with a little chuckle before entering the location.
And showed that he wasn't the only one here. The smaller hero was there, and he offered a smile towards her. "Glad to see a bit of a familiar face here." He added, before turning to the other person with her. The healer they had as well. And then there was the final person who he didn't think he had ever seen before. She must be the one wanting their presence.

Julia Julia wasn't happy with this situation, not happy in the slightest. It had been unexpected, jarring, and quite honestly, annoying to be suddenly booted as the organization she had been part of crumbled without warning. With the war effort as it was, coming home from a campaign to be greeted by this was, for lack of a better term, really shitty. She had made sure others were attended for and able to make due while finding other work, as she had been working to keep an empty inn room for herself, having earned favor with one of the caretakers. But as set as she was, for the moment, the Pegasus Knight simply couldn't help but feel restless, like something was missing. It wasn't as if the inn itself was quiet, definitely not, but more so...not what she wanted. She miss the familiar sounds and faces, the arguing that she would disperse in moments, the work that needed to be done...She missed having a "family". As if her sisters' absence wasn't enough, she had lost her company as well.
And she was far from happy.
But then hope came in the form of an invitation from one of the previous members, even if contact had been to a minimum with this one. But honestly, did it matter? It was a chance to put herself to the grind again, not to mention...it would be nice to see others again. So the mercenary found herself at the rendezvous point with the others, clutching her invitation in one hand as she took her position. A simple nod of acknowledgement was given to the others before she turned her attention elsewhere.
"Has anyone seen Miss Iris?"
