Rissaness & Uncomfortable Moan One x One Roleplay ------ Name: Liana Ann Hartman Age: 18 Species: Inumimi Personality:Liana is shy and reserved most of the time, and tends to keep her nose in books during her free time. She doesn't have good self esteem, stemming from her past. She's quiet and softspoken, and often stammers. But once you get her to open up; she's a chatterbox. Liana's very loving and sweet, but tends to be overemotional towards most situations. She's easily affected by words. History:Liana had a very rough childhood. She was abused both mentally and physically by her father since she was ten, being told that her mother had died because of her, and she was a parasite that killed his wife during labor. She was treated worse as time went on. Eventually, the girl packed a backpack and ran away in the middle of the night. Her money didn't last long, as she didn't have much of it. She only had about twenty dollars, and her food supply ran out quickly. She had to start stealing to survive at the age of thirteen, often getting caught and having to flee the situation. One day as Liana was about to pick-pocket a woman who seemed like an easy target; the woman turned and grabbed her wrist. But instead of turning her in to the police, or slapping her; the woman took her in. At first Liana refused, but the woman would not take no for an answer and said it was no issue. Liana was surprised when the woman told her she ran an inn nearby in the small town. She was taken in by the woman as her own daughter, who introduced herself as Reina Hartman. Liana took the woman's last name as her own and eventually called the woman her mother. Reina didn't make much money, but would never allow Liana to steal for them. Liana didn't know the reason the woman didn't make much money was because she spent money on alchemist equipment and was a mage. Eventually she found out, and asked to be tutored in magic. She was given a spellbook for her eighteenth birthday, being taught how to control magic. After she turned eighteen, she was sent to the university to learn and hopefully make some friends.  Name: Vera Claythorne Age: 18 Species; Witch Personality; Vera spells trouble but unlike the surface, deep down she's a softie. Quite the romancer. Not to mention her fluent sarcasm. History; Vera was cursed to immortality in the 1600's and ran and lived on her own for ages until she learned how to unbreak the spell. At the time, she still appeared to be 16 so at 16, she was adopted by a wealthy family that raised her as their own rebellious teenager. Now at 18, Vera attends the academy without a scholarship by force. You post heart

Letting out a light sigh, Liana braced herself for her first day of the new semester. The shy, reserved girl didn't have any friends, except for one nekomimi girl who was kind to her. In fact, Liana was nearly deathly afraid of humans due to her past. The school was mainly a human school, and she was teased on an almost daily basis for her ears and tail... The only person who understood this was the nekomimi girl, Yukari. The two would eat together at lunch since no-one would sit near them.
Unfortunately for Liana, Yukari wasn't in any of her classes. It was lunchtime, and Yukari was out sick. Liana sat on her own, outside of the lunchroom as she had been chased out by a group of girls. She sat quietly underneath a shady maple tree, eating from her box lunch. 'I-I wonder if there's even one person who doesn't think I'm a freak, here...' She thought to herself, her ears flattened against her head in reflex.
"Hey! Freak! Keep those things you call your ears in check!" A voice viciously yelled from the cafeteria.
Liana felt like she was in a nightmare; and as students started to laugh and crowd around her, she sprung up in tears and ran through the crowds, before bumping into someone and falling to the ground. "Eep!" She squealed in fright, worried the person she bumped into would hurt her.
{{Sorry this took so long. Big day today.. I thought Liana could either have bumped into your character, or a bully your character could rescue her from. But it's up to you what happens next. x3}}

Vera Claythorne was walking the halls, waving at whoever greeted her, smiling at them with her pearly whites. It's her second year at the Acadeemy but her people skills made her become well known. Fast. "So, What's the up and up for this weekend Vera?" A frequently asked question, coming from Tobis mouth this time. Tobi was one of the ones who wantedher yet nobody understood why she never had a boyfriend. "Well my parents aren't in town again so its totally-" Vera was in mid-conversation when she was bumped into, turning around to see the eared girl on the ground and the kids way back behind her, Vera flipping them off. "Well what happened here?" she asked the girl, reaching out a hand. (I'm posting from a tablet so its not so pretty)

Liana jumped back two feet in the air as she heard an unfamiliar girl's voice speaking to her. Looking up in a panic, she saw a hand approaching her and flinched slightly. Once she realized the hand was just being offered to help her up, the flustered girl flushed a deep red in the face and let herself be helped up. "T-thank you..." She stuttered, before the head of the mean girl group; the boldest of the gang that harassed Liana on a daily basis stepped out of the crowd and looked the new girl over and huffed. "So, someone's taking on the pity case?" She asked rudely, causing the already blushing and nervous inumimi to break down and run away from the crowd in tears.
Liana felt awful for running away from the girl who had been kind enough to help her up, but she couldn't stand the insults anymore... Choking back a sob, Liana darted under a bush and hid. Trying to stop the constant flow of tears from her eyes, she rubbed her face in a sad attempt to hide her obvious crying state. Pulling her knees up to her chest, the injured girl buried her face in her arms. She felt like a freak again. The many people who said it couldn't all be lying... Could they?

Vera smiled at the girl as she started to stand up and began to introduce herself until the "main b***h" spoke up and insulted the girl. "WHat the hell is wrong with you?" she snarld to the girl who has been afraid of her since she's gone to the school. After she gave her the finger too, Vera walked away and gathered her cool to go speak to the girl who ran away. "Hey.um, are you okay?" she asked kindly.

The bitchy girl that had been shot the bird huffed and stormed off as Vera walked off towards where the girl she considered the 'pity case' had run off to. Back in the bush, Liana was still trying to compose herself when she heard the same girl's voice who had helped her up. She squeaked and jumped. Generally, this would have been a cute gesture, if she didn't look so frightened. Looking at the girl who asked her if she was okay, in an unusually kind voice for someone to speak to her in; Liana flushed red and looked down. "I-I'm used to it..." She mumbled.

Hearing that the girl was "used to it" didn't assure her very well. It was quite depressing to her ears. "Well, you shouldn't be." Vera said within a sigh, joining her in the bushes. "I'm Vera." she said, introducing herself in a casual manner for being a girl sitting in a bush.

Liana frowned when the girl said she 'shouldn't be'. The shy girl knew quite well how cruel the world could be. A lot of things 'shouldn't' have happened, but they did. Liana was alone in the world except for her adoptive mother, Reina. Pulling her knees tighter to her chest, the shy girl looked down and sighed. "A lot of things shouldn't be..." She muttered; a vague hint of her existence being a thing that 'shouldn't be'. When the other girl introduced herself as Vera, Liana looked at her. 'I-I'm Liana..." She mumbled shyly, looking down. A pause went by, before she added: "U-um... W-why are you ... why are you being n-nice to me?" She asked, awkwardly adding a shy: "N-not that I-I'm ungrateful.."
