This is a massive air sea and deep seas ship. The deck and working areas were encased in an extended and now cylindrical wooden hull which was coated on the outside by fine plates of rust proof metals. The front of it had a large window made of pressure treated glass; Lining the sides were little portholes. Inside the back of the ship bore the crow coil, as tall as two Minos and as wide as one was tall, encased in wooden and copper encasing. This coil fueled four turbine engines capable of not only propelling through water but also through the sky thanks to the way they could rotate and how hard they could turn. Inside near the bottom there were three Ballasts; two for collecting water to cause the ship to sink, another to take in sea-water to collect hydrogen... which using some of the excess energy from the coil would make an explosive propulsion device which would launch the whole ship flying for great distances. Ontop of it all the new flourishes for the redesigned ship all had wing accents... and the front of the ship, where the glass plate was, looked suspiciously like a crow's head and beak.

"Well now your people have reason to dream bigger. Everyone can learn science! It is in fact something you do learn from the moment of birth. Who knows? perhaps this is the moment your people learn to blend science and magic to bring in a new cultural era. All thanks to you, the first Gekkinada Engineer! wouldn't that be something?" Tollemiir said with a sly upturn of the soft corners of his beak. He looked within the barista station to see what all the ruckus was and to see if all was running smoothly...

The Gekkinada smiled.

Technically, we already do. We know more about the physics of the world then most beings of this world and not of it. We just have trouble applying it to objects, that's all.

He could hear the Barista's talking as he poked his head in. They were working the equipment skillfully, as if they had used it all along. They were two of the extremely colorful haired female humans that he's seen about-- and they were brewing an expresso with quite a bit of eagerness... When it was finished they both served themselves the coffee in tiny little cups and sipped it, tasting it carefully.

Now this is travel. One said, who had stunning black to steel grey to shining silver hair. And coffee! With a proper roaster and grinder! I haven't had coffee made this good in ages! Oh so few people appreciate a good cup of coffee here...

I know, right? Mm... Oh wow. These beans you got must be from one of those Slime areas of the Vapore jungle. You could never get coffee like this back at our old universe... Even as popular as it was, this quality is fantastic... Needs the equipment to really bring out the flavor. Her hair was bright shiny golds and golden greens.

"Heeey.... man-ladies! you've been holding out on me! I want some of that you know. Devoted an entire portion of the ship around a coffee shop I would think it obvious i'm into the java..." Tollemiir spoke with an over exaggerated whine to his voice but with a playful smirk. the look in his eyes however spoke of a man who wasn't kidding... he really wanted some coffee. "I take mine black with four and no more than four one inch by one inch cubes of sugar per eight ounces of coffee."

He then turned to his companion as he waited for his drink.
"I figure with your peoples devotion to study that would be the case, however to think that its some happenstance of fate that you can't use engineering along with your magic is short sighted and a false assumption. If your people don't try they will never do. You will make mistakes, sure a thing or two might blow up but in the end all mistakes are just a lesson on how not to do something."

The green haired one just grinned as she turned away to attend to the equipment.

The Steel haired one grinned. Well well, if it isn't the crow himself. We've been waiting for you to pop your head in.

There was the sound of pouring liquid, and the sound of something dropping into said liquid... and he was quickly presented with a VERY large stone stein full to the brim of his long missed black elixer... it looks like it held half a gallon of the stuff...

Enjoy.

The Gekkinada smiled wryly, amusement in Firespark's eyes as he saw the very large mug presented to Tollemiir. We put magic in everything we do... even without intending too. We've tried, my friend, we've tried... Whenever a Gekkinada makes a little cube with just a button, everyone is too afraid to push it.

No words... The sight was perfect. Coffee; real coffee presented before Tollemiir in all its splendor. He held the stein lovingly as he pondered the infinite black depths of what lay within. The kenku shuddered in joy as he breathed in the nose of the coffee. He had lost all track of his conversation as he just took the moment in and drank of this time before drinking of his precious elixir. When he was prepared body mind and soul he dipped his beak tip in and drank deeply. His irises pinpricks of intense focus.

Firespark watched as his friend seemed entranced by the black liquid set before him. He smiled big, watching his friend, content.

It's nice that he has something to bring him joy.

The two baristas looked on as well.

Damn, the steel haired one said. I thought I loved coffee. This guy's on a whole nother level.

Just as Tollemiir started to come out of his coffee induced trance, the deep voice of the Captain filled the ship as he spoke loudly over the ship's tubes.

We are about to... set sail? We christen this vessel with it's new name, The Wired Crow!

All throughout the ship, one could hear cheers from the crew members and passengers...

Tollemiir barely registered the deep honor as he looked up momentarily before finding a good seat to continue drinking his coffee... "Yyyyeees; my precious-precious baby... daddy loves you. Yes he does." he muttered softly to him and his liquid black love before drinking another long pull from the stein.

Since Tollemiir was busy drinking his black elixir, this left the other three to their own devices.... they started talking about various intellectual subjects. Meanwhile as the coffee shop went about its business the crew of the wired crow were a hum of activity testing the systems of the improved ship in preparation for its first new flight. The captain was busy speaking with his mates about course corrections and entirely new courses thanks to the new options of mobility presented to him. When he was sure that his course was true and had discussed all the points of the voyage he pulled down the captains communication horn and asked the different sections of the ship for a status report making sure everything was functioning at optimum. All sections reported positive and so with that the captain announced the launch of the wired crow was now under way! With a gentle kick the ship sped forward ready for its next destination...

After about ten minutes Tollemiir drank all his coffee. he was now enjoying the after glow before the rush... until he realized the ship... was moving forwards?! Damn he had missed it! He came to Firespark and looked about the shop. "The ships already flying?! When did that happen?"

Firespark looked up from where he had been examining what looked like a tiny white stylus. He was pressing it against the scales on the back of his wrist and it was changing the scales to varying colors. You were really out of it when you were drinking all that coffee... The Captain had been busy checking to make sure everything was operational and plotting new courses... Then he christened the new ship and we've been flying for a good 10 minutes now. I think later he's going to try testing the deep sea capabilities. The general estimation on how long it's going to take to get to Port is two weeks now.

The steel grey haired Barista was playing with one of her white gloves, while the other was checking to make sure the equipment was fully functioning.

"What did they end up calling the ship? Also... what is that stick doing to your scales? That's not a magic i'm familiar with. is it magic of this world?" while Tollemiir had been planning to go onto the control room to be in the center of things on its first new voyage he couldn't pass up the chance to learn a little something new presented right in front of his eyes. He watched as each tap made his friends scales change.

No... it's some sort of the technology these Hermia ladies came up with. Watch this! He pressed the stylus against this scales again, and all of his scales turned inky black.

The Steel haired one looked up. I see you find my makeup stylus entertaining, hmm? She said, looking amused. It doesn't wash off, you know.

Yes, it changes the color of my scales. Said Firespark. How do you do that?

The Hermia smiled.

Hermia secret friend. She said with a wink. Now give it back...

The Gekkinada chuckled and turned his scales back to their normal hue, (though a few shades lighter) before handing back the stylus to the Hermia.

It really is quite fascinating...

Tollemiir saw this and heard it was technology; he also saw his friends great interest in it. "She-manimal! I think my friend here would really like that thingue of yours. So If you aren't to scared of course... perhaps you wouldn't mind playing a game of chance for it? A game of cups should do I think..."

Tollemiir got out six coffee cups of identical make large enough to put the stylus under.

"If you don't mind handing over the stick thing there I propose to move the cups about and if you can guess which cup the stick is under you keep it. if not then Firespark here can. Simple enough game for beings of such advanced means."

The Hermia looked at Tollemiir with a raised eyebrow. She looked at him, his cups, and her stylus. She eyed him... she didn't want to bet her little makeup stylus, but he had called her scared? Why, no one calls her scared.

She reluctantly put the stylus down on the table where his cups were.

Firespark had hopped on a chair and was peering over the tabletop to see... The other Hermia was watching, looking rather amused. When it came to a Hermia and their ego, all bets were off...
