A very nice bank located in the heart of the Fofaf capital city of Garuda Haan, also known as The Grand Imperial City. This is Blueberry Hill Treasury and Investments. You can place your money and belongings here for safe keeping, or even pay your dues here. Tax Collecter Raiju D'Nakara also has an office here, since he believed it would be much more convenient for all parties. Speak to Calu D'Mia for deposits and withdraws. Talk to Hubert Von Crees for making an investment. Any of the three of them may have quests available for you.

Banker Calu D'Mia: a well dressed Gred Wolf with a sweet disposition
"Banking is pretty simple. You deposit your money to protect it from thieves and help you save up. Interest is currently set at 2% per month. If you don't collect upon it, you do not gain it. Pretty easy, right? Withdraws cost you nothing, but you can only withdraw what you have in the account. And sorry, this bank does not grant any loans. By the way, you may also leave some of your belongings in your vault so that they can be kept safe."

Tradesman Hubert Von Crees: A very smartly dressed Floris male with a rose in his lapel.
"Investments work like this: You lend me some money to invest in a venture, and you can make a profit. How much of a profit depends entirely on how much you invest and how successful it is."

Investment Quests: Place your investment, and roll a 4 sided die to see what the outcome of your investment is. It is a risky game, but you can collect a lot from it. It is considered a quest because regardless of the outcome, you gain 500 QP per investment made.

Duncan had gotten done up at the school and wondered around the city for a while. There were a lot of people here and it kind of worried him. What if someone tried to pickpocket him? He had been saving up his coins since he was young, and did not want it to fall into a thief's hands. So the Juren made his way to the bank. He never has been in a bank before so was nervous as he entered and looked around. The place looked quite nice actually. There were three areas to go to, investments, deposits/withdrawals, and taxes.
He was not all that interested in making an investment at this moment. Maybe later when he had more money to spare on such things. Taxes on the other hand he knew he should take care of. The other members of the Zhu Shi tribe always said there are two things you cannot avoid, death and taxes. Duncan took a deep breath and headed the way the tax sign pointed to. He filled out the Tax Form A he was given. It was a small form thank fully. Once done he turned it in with the payment to a nice looking Grec.

When Duncan was done paying the taxes, he headed back over to the signs, and then followed the one pointing to the deposits and withdrawals. Banker Calu D'Mia was rather nice when he came up to the window. The sweet wolf helped him through the process of opening up an account and explained to him about the interest he would get to with them. That sounded amazing to him. He never heard of interest before, well they did not have a bank or anything like it anywhere near his childhood home either. He also liked the idea of storing items in the bank as well. There were some valuable things he did not want to lose and did not need to carry around with him everywhere.
Duncan completed the paperwork and deposited the money along with some valuable items he had with him.

Duncan just felt so full of energy today. As soon as one class session was over, he was still ready and rearing to grow. The next session he needed to take was not for a few hours though. Instead he went out back into the streets of Garuda Haan. He has been spending a lot of time in the capital. There is just so much stuff to do around here. The Juren Bearkin has been doing quite a bit of work around the city that largely went unnoticed. Only once was he actually noticed and was given the title of a Noble. He is still slightly confused by how that actually happened, but is not complaining. Since then more people have noticed him around. That was both good and bad. More people hired him quite quickly, but also made him a bit of a higher value target for thieves. Good thing he set up a bank account not too far back before all of this strangeness happened.
Actually, he felt he had too much coin on him at the moment. It was far more then what he had already stashed away. Sure he needed the money to pay for classes, but even if he took all the classes currently being offered, he probably couldn’t spend all of it there. So, Duncan headed off to the bank here in the city.
The people that work here at Blueberry Hill Treasury and Investments are always so nice. Duncan really liked that about this bank. Along with their security, it is why he trusts them to hold his money more then he trusts himself. He thanked Calu D'Mia for their hard work after he made the large deposit of thirty thousand coins.

There was also another matter Duncan needed to attend to, paying the quarterly taxes. He was glad they did not depend on how much money he had made like he heard they used to be set at a long time ago. Just one hundred in coins was all it really cost for any one. Getting that much was not too hard to accomplish with all the different jobs available in this great big city of Garuda Haan. Actually, it would also leave him with plenty of money still in his pocket to do a little investing as well. He did promise himself last time he was here to try investing after getting some more coins. That would have to wait a few more minutes however. Right now he needed to head over to Raiju D'Nakara area of the bank. He had done this before so was not as nervous about filling out Form A. Duncan took a glance at what Form B was about. Apparently it was for tax collectors who actually went to the citizens to collect the money to fill out to say they done their job. Personally he did not like the idea of all the dangers of trying to get money from people could possibly entail. So he just filled out the first form and paid the Grec the one hundred coins.

This part of the bank Duncan had not been to before, Hubert Von Crees the tradesman’s office. He had asked the Floris how investing actually worked. The answer he got was kind of simplified. The juren felt a bit insulted at being told a version of it like he was a child. Some people might need to be explained to them like that, but not him. He got the man to give him a more detailed explanation of what would happen to the money he might invest. So Hubert here takes the investors coins, gives it to a business that use it to improve the company. If they are successful, he gets more money back. He could also break even to as if it never happened. If it is unsuccessful he could actually lose his money. That was less likely because they do analyses of the projects, but it is still quite likely that something goes wrong. Investing is one big risk. Duncan was interested in it, but wanted to test the market first. He would invest, but it would only be a few hundred coins.
