Posts in this thread are welcome if anyone needs more hints, or has any comments, questions or suggestions, and please also post here if you find anything in the hunt which doesn't work (such as broken images or links). Intelli-Thread vs. The Gent, Round 2!
Welcome, travellers!
This festive season, The Gent is proud to present to you the Intelli-Thread's greatest ever special event, with approximately 25 million gold in prizes!
These little pixies will be your guides as you tackle the fiendish maze of tricks and traps that is the Intelli-thread's Christmas/New Year Treasure Hunt. Can you solve their puzzles and secure some pixie treasure?
The game works like this. You will follow a trail of puzzles which have been carefully hidden throughout this thread. The answer to every puzzle is a number, which is a page number in this thread. Solving each puzzle will therefore reveal the number of the page you must visit to find the next puzzle, and so on, until you reach the end. It sounds simple? Perhaps it is... then again, perhaps it isn't.

If you are one of the elite who succeed in finding the Pixie Queen, she will grant you a special wish - one of the beautiful Gold Prizes above. If you can't get that far, don't despair - if you can reach the Silver Sprite, she will grant you a Silver Prize instead.
Challengers must try to empty the pixies' treasure chests of their twenty prizes by Midnight GMT on Monday 31st December. As soon as the clock strikes midnight, the labyrinth's magic doors will all slam closed, and any unclaimed prizes will be lost forever!

Everyone is welcome to continue to play the puzzles for fun, but playing for prizes is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated, and congratulations to the prizewinners! The pixies and I hope you all had fun!
Instructions: How To Play
-Your first clue is below. Solve it to find the first page number you need, then type that number into the "jump box" at the top of the thread, and hit "Enter". (If you've never used this feature of Gaia before, it's a little entry box beside the thread's page numbers at the top or bottom of the thread, which will allow you to jump to any page number you wish).
-If your solution is correct, you will find the second clue hidden in one of The Gent's posts on that page. All clue posts contain a pixie, so you'll know you've found the right place.
-There are thirty clues between here and your final destination, divided into three parts of ten clues each. The first part will be released on December 27th, the second on December 28th, and the third on December 29th.
Rules
-ONE PRIZE PER PERSON only. This means that if you are aiming for one of the first prizes, you mustn't claim a second prize.
-Discussing the treasure hunt in the thread is fine, and if you feel so inclined, you may help out others by giving them hints. Please do NOT post clues themselves, page numbers, or answers to any of the clues publically.
-You will be entitled to claim a prize if you reach the Silver Sprite or the Pixie Queen while there are still prizes remaining. Instructions for claiming a prize will await you there. You may choose any prize which has not been claimed yet; as prizes are claimed, I will update this post to show which are remaining.

Hints for specific puzzles will gradually be added as time passes. If you get stuck, check here for hints, or ask in the thread for some help!
