Virgilia's ear perked up at the sound of approaching footsteps. Looking around, she spotted a vulpix and a human. Leaping out of the bushes, Virgilia landed and promptly lost her footing, crashing face first into the ground. Quickly standing and dusting herself off, the lopunny shot a jet of water at the vulpix.

A wave of spectral flames shot forward as Virgilia got to her feet. She began to run away, but tripped on a loose stone, causing the flames to pass harmlessly overhead. Getting to her feet, she dusted herself off once more and shot more water at the vulpix.

Whining Verya fell backwards as the water missed her and when she heard Aya yell Incinerate again she was ready. Sopping she opened her mouth for the flame once more.
