Miscellaneous Locations Throughout the Universe
This subforum is for the purpose of including not already mentioned and important locations throughout the galaxy. Examples of such could include the Moon, the vacuum of Space in itself and many, many, many, many more exotic and interesting places. Even though it is exciting that this Subforum is here, we ask you show restraint when making topics. If it is not needed please do not add it.
If you are unsure whether to add a topic, make sure to contact a moderator.
Hints and Tips to making Topics:
1. Bigger isn't always better; don't try to squeeze as much as you can into a single topic because it can become a mess for not just describing the area but also telling as to where people are within the area. Try and isolate topics to specific locations or keep them to smaller ones.
I know this might be somewhat difficult considering in some circumstances we will be talking about whole planets but trust me, it will be of benefit if you can somehow condense it.
2. If you need multiple areas of a place then you can separate them but only if it makes sense and is needed. It could also be used to help negate the problems of the first tip. So, for example, one could make say "The Planet of Okaara" a rather famous location in the DC Universe, Okaara is a big place but there's not much there... now, so you could technically get away with it being one topic but if you were unsure, if you wanted to highlight a few key areas such as Larfleeze's Den.
To present this you simply need to include where that more specific place is as a precursor. Eg: "Okaara ~ Larfleeze's Den".
3. Always include your planetary conditions within your topics header post, considering that not all Planets are even solid it goes without saying that you should include somewhere the Planet's climates, gravity and atmospheric conditions because it lets people know what to expect and let's them not die stupidly. I know they've somehow managed to get there but they can't necessarily be careful if they don't have the information and when you think about the potential for what could happen within this guild; it would suck to die by asphyxiation because someone decided not to tell you there was no oxygen somewhere.
