Aleck opened the shop door and walked into it for the first time as far as he could remember. His father spoke of this shop a few times, mainly when discussing how he met his other father. He decided to check it out for himself. And hey, maybe he'll make a friend or two! That would be awesome! A friend would be great to have and then they could do things like goof off and stuff.

Shane had finally given his recent tattoos enough time to heal and was exploring this new city he had found himself in, tail whipping back and fourth flinging wet paint in little platters all over the wall he was leaning against as he glanced up hearing the door open. A fanged grin spread on his face as an interesting boy walked through the door, almost as colorful as himself.

Aleck was looking around the shop, poking about here and there when he spotted a naga. It was kinda hard to miss him and Aleck wondered how he missed such a colorful creature when he first walked in. He waved at the naga, hoping the other was as friendly as he was colorful...or at least friendly enough.

Seeing the other boy had notice him Shane got excited and waved back enthusiastically. He was so used to being unseen that it caused him immense joy just to be acknowledged. "Hi!" He yelled across the room.

Aleck grinned brightly when the other acknowledged him. "Hi!" He called back before heading over to the naga. "I'm Aleck!" Aleck held out his hand to the other anthro, still grinning. He was excited that the other was receptive to his greeting. That was a good start.

Shane's tail began flicking as he grew even more excited at the boys attention, after being invisible for so long even the slightest glance his way was enough to give him goose bumps. Even more unexpected to the newly colorful boy he was being approached, as his excitement grew and his muscles tensed and twitched more paint flicked from the paintbrush tied to his tail. Extending his hand he flashed a fanged smile right as a drip of pain landed on his arm, though Shane didn't even give it a glanced as he was used to the mess he always caused. "Hi, I'm Shane" he offered up almost as an after thought, he wasn't used to interaction this quickly, others had found him while he was unable to be seen and been interested enough to speak to them but Shane had always been able to watch them for some time before the interaction took place, so the experience was mildly foreign to him.
