Keelin was currently in the middle of the most wonderful, relaxing dreams he had had in quite some time. The feel of the cool grass under the blanket, the smell of a book that now lay folded over his thumb, the sound of children playing in the distance, a runner scraping the pavement underfoot as he passed nearby, all of these things had lulled him into that peaceful sleep.vampire werewolf fangirl2

Sayen Aisling was sitting near the dreaming anthro. He grinned as he watched the other dream. He was making sure the dream stayed a pleasant one. He would hate for such a nice dream to turn into something darker. Moments like the one being dreamed of are some of the best moments in life, whether they happen in the waking world or the dreaming one.

vampire werewolf fangirl2 What was Keelin dreaming? Was there a story or a theme or anything tangible for that matter? Hard to say, the way dreams can be. Colors and light filled the world. Wandering and corridors and a sense that one needn't hurry no matter what came next. It was really nice feeling a lack of responsibility or worry. Perhaps realizing that made the dream fade. It wasn't real.
He sat up slowly, rubbing his face, feeling a bit of that dream superimposed on the park setting. Otherwise he remembered none of it, other than that it was a lovely dream. With that frame of mind, he glanced around to get his bearings. He could still hear the children, a squealing laugh, in fact.
Then he caught sight of the unicorn. He offered Sayen Aisling a smile, not knowing if the other had even noticed him. It was better to smile, just in case.

Sayen sensed that the cat was coming out of dreamland and sat up a bit. He did not want to come across as a creepier, what with him watching others sleep. The unicorn smiled back at Keelin when the cat smiled at him. "Hello." he said, softly. "I hope I did not wake you." Sayen would hate to have been the cause for pulling the other away from such a sweet and lovely dream.

vampire werewolf fangirl2 Keelin had no idea what Sayen was about. How could he? Instead, from the unicorn's question, the cat wondered if he had just arrived and had made a little noise. "No, I don't think so. Either way, I did not expect to fall asleep. It's just really peaceful here." He ran his fingers through his hair and checked his place in the book before closing it completely. By that time, he gathered his wits and remembered normal pleasantries. "By the way, hello," he said with a little chuckle. "It's been a while since I came to the park by myself to relax. Do you visit often?"

"I am glad I did not wake you." Sayen smiled at the cat. "It is very peaceful here. I love it. Yes, I try to visit here as often as possible. It is relaxing and a great place to read or think. Do you come here often? Or did you use to, since you said you haven't been here in awhile." He held out a hand. "Hello, I'm Sayen Aisling."

"Even if you had, I would not have minded. Yes, I used to come here all the time. I was often accompanied by my kids who have since grown up. It's kind of funny how when I do come, I still find myself listening to the kids playing. It makes me happy." While he spoke he rose to his feet and brushed his clothing off, dark berry-colored pants and a lighter pink shirt that matched. He approached the unicorn and offered a hand and a bright smile. "Nice to meet you Sayen Aisling. I'm Keelin."vampire werewolf fangirl2
