Have fun and go in the knowledge that we are all very very jealous!
crying lol ok ^^
a couple weeks back we had a little scare my dad called up my mom and told her how much was in the bank apparently 2,000 at the time instead of the supposid 2,300 that he had told me a few
monthes peviously... so we added up all the money that ive got...
the money from fundraising,
the checks i had yet to put in the bank
and the extra money mom owed me
every thing was fine after that... i would have a little crunch on my spending money but every thing was ok...
i had put down already the $500 insurance polocy mony that the school makes us pay (if we dont use it on the trip we get it back yeay! the money i am probably gonna use to get my drivers licence) in case of medical emergency and other what nots that we may need to take care of while in japan- of course i dont care if i litterally break a leg while im down their i will scrounge up an ace bandage from some where and be in a hell of a lota pain but they arent sending me anywhere... ><
and the one hundred for reserving the ticket... that we cant get back even if we dont go on the trip (but im going so it doesnt matter)
and well my mom spoke with one of the teachers that is taking us and they said that the five hundred was included in the total of $2,500 maximum for this trip... ok every thing is fine and dandy i find out on monday that the $500 is not part of the money included in the funds and so me and my mom freak out all over again sit down and count up the total of every cent i have raked in for this trip (mind you neither of my parents are putting a dime down for me for this trip) including the money mom owes me, my even more recient checks and all the money my dad had given me after pulling all the money out of my account save for like $50 for some reason or another... and totaled it up... with the checks coming in next week and two weeks after that i should have enough but my spending money is probably gonna be only like $300 and thats barely enough to get a yukata (formal kimono)... but oh well... i guess i will have to wait until next time i raise enough money to go to japan to get a yukata.
