You enter area in the center of Haven, a room you've never seen before. On the door you see a label that says that this is the hall for events. One of the rooms is labeled "The Great Valentines Day Ball 2014". That's the room you were looking for! You come in your best clothes with or without a date.
"Welcome to the dance, we hope that you enjoy yourselves!" the guild captain says with a smile as she leads you to the ticket booth. "Place your ticket in the slot and you can enter!" she points to a small box.
"During the dance you will have a chance to nominate the Queens of the ball. When the ball is over, you'll be able to vote for the Queens based on the nominations. Each Queen will receive a Jubilant Diamond Crown. You can't nominate or vote for yourself, in case you were wondering." she added on the last part so that there wouldn't be any confusion. "The rest of the rules are the same as the normal guild rules. So it shouldn't be hard to figure out what's acceptable and what's not. But if you have any questions, then just ask! Have fun~"
((**Note: There aren't any real 'tickets' or anything... it's to make the RP feel more real...))

Nao takes a deep breath in before nervously slipping her hand into Morgan's. She had never went to a dance with a girlfriend before. (Well... Mostly because she never had one) "How's this?" She pointed at the event that she worked do hard on.

I step into the dance ball for a moment to check out the beautiful decorations inside before moving down the hall to the Valentines Singles dance.

Morgan clutched Nao's hand tightly. She'd never been to a Valentine's Day dance, mostly because, like her girlfriend, she'd never had anyone to call her own. The girl smiled. "Everything is lovely."

"I'm glad." she smiled and led her to the dance floor." Umm... do you know how to dance, by chance?" she asked while feeling a bit embarrassed.

She smiled shyly. "I learned how to do the two-step at the French convention. Does that count?"

"I don't remember it..." she said shamefully. "I just remember slow, quick, quick!" The girl thought for a minute. "Do you know any?"

"I don't..." She scratched the back of her neck awkwardly. "Maybe someone here can teach us how to dance?" She suggested. It was worth a try, right? "We could also move on to the games and snacks for now. Well... Until someone who can dance arrives? We could also stumble through the whole thing and guesstimate! That wouldn't be too bad." Except for the toe crunching that would probably happen. "I can do this." She took the girl's hand and spun her around.

I had dressed in a suit for the dance, that I had no idea why I was going to. *Geez Lex what the heck where you thinking? Oh right, you weren't.* Just then a voice spoke up. "....cket in the slot and you can enter!" *Good job dumb-dumb nice listening skills.*
"Um... I'm sorry, but could you please repeat that?" I asked feeling slightly ashamed.
"Your ticket. Place it in the box right there and you can enter." She said as she pointed to the ticket in my hand and then to the box.
"Oh! Oops. Sorry." I quickly stuff my ticket in the box while the girl proceeds to tell me about the nominations of the Queens and the rules. *Like I actually need to worry about that. I sure as hell wouldn't nominate myself. Not that I really know anyone. I'll just sit back and watch.* I walk into the dance area and look around. *Interesting.* I walk strait over to the punch table and grab a small glass before walking over to a nearby wall to watch everything that's going on. *Well isn't that couple cute. They both seem pretty shy though.* I take notice of everything there but don't linger on any one object or person for to long. *Well this is definitely more interesting than sitting on the window sill and staring out the window all day long. So that's a plus.*
I start to sing my favorite songs to myself (which I do often and never come to an end of the list because I love just that much music)waiting for something truly entertaining to happen.

Star walked into the ball blushing and covering her face, since she was wearing a dress which was completely out of character, she put her ticket into the box and quickly rushed to find a chair or something to sit in

"It looks like people are starting to show up, Morgan!" she said excitedly while bouncing up and down a little. She was almost beginning to worry that they would be the only two there the whole time. That would be absolutely awkward. "Oh! Let's do that!" she was referring to the claw machine. It held all kinds of kawaiiness! So many stuffed animals to choose from. Well... if she could actually grab a hold of one.
"I'll win one for my girlfriend!" she decided. A fire ignited in her eyes. Nothing would stop her now!
