The following is a condensed listing of information young psychics should be aware of when attending Murmuring Pines Psychic Summer Camp or Majesco Psychic Academy. Please refer to it if you have any questions about how things are run, course information, and the like.

➧ CAMP
- ▪ Murmuring Pines Psychic Summer Camp is open from June to August.
▪ Signed consent from a parent or guardian is necessary before any child is allowed to participate in paranormal training.
▪ Basic Braining is a mandatory course. Further paranormal training is impossible without completing this course.
▪ Marksmanship is a mandatory course and requires a Learner's Permit authorized by the scoutmaster.
▪ Levitation is a mandatory course with no per-requisites.
▪ Unique ability courses are provided for every known psychic power and are mandatory for a young psychic's first ability.
▪ Participation ribbons are handed out at the end of camp for those who did not pass their courses.
➧ ACADEMY
- ▪ Majesco Psychic Academy is open year-round, though lessons run from September to the end of May.
▪ If under 18, signed consent from a parent or guardian is necessary before any student is allowed to participate in paranormal training.
▪ Advanced Braining is a mandatory course. Further paranormal training is impossible without completing this course.
▪ Crash Course is mandatory before participating in Advanced Braining if a student never received proper paranormal training.
▪ Unique ability courses are provided for every known psychic power and are highly encouraged.
▪ Breaks include: Summer (8 weeks), Winter (4 weeks), Spring (2 weeks), and Harvest (1 week).

➧ MISCELLANEOUS POLICIES
- If Campers or Students have not received parent/guardian permission, or submitted forgeries, their parent/guardian will be called immediately. In the event of runaways or children from abusive environments, Child Protective Services will be contacted. Shelter will be provided until they are picked up but without legal permission they will not be allowed to participate in paranormal training.
Murmuring Pines and Majesco Academy are government facilities. As such, they are paid for by government grants and tax dollars. Unfortunately, this means they are fairly low budget. They do accept donations, which is a large part of what keeps things running smoothly.
The camp and academy have separate websites for public access. On the surface, they appear to advertise perfectly normal facilities for the average camp or school goer. If you know what you're looking for, the truth becomes much clearer. Both have contact information that connects to a central hot line, an email address for the dean and scoutmaster, and will mail out pamphlets upon request.
Agents may be dispatched on request from HQ or requested to meet with parents and explain the situation via forms on the websites or mail ins from the pamphlets. Pamphlets are typically sent out after major psychic events are detected in a given area and investigations lead them to young psychics. Unfortunately they cannot detect minor blips or psychic energy, so the likelihood of Psychonauts contacting or finding you on their own is low.
➧ TIME PASSAGE
- The passage of time in Mind Over Matter is intended to be somewhat vague and malleable. We have left it up in the air as to when precisely the shop takes place, outside of it being somewhere in the 2010s. However, time does flow. You do not necessarily need to flow precisely with it, but you cannot exceed the rate at which time flows in real life. If it suits your purposes, you may back date and choose not to age up your character for as long as necessary -- but you cannot age them forward until that time passes for real. If you're uncertain when roleplays should take place, a safe bet is to either stick to the current real life season, month, or date that the roleplay was started on.
