Pride Location:
Ideas: Pools and many shady places. Nearby a warrior pride for protection? Warm/temperate climate. Widely spaced den areas. Many nooks and crannies for dwelling, sitting, or congregating.

Pride Structure: Two ruling pairs, rank names of Patriarch and Matriarch


Pride Ranks:
Counselors - good with emotional upheavals
Caretakers - tend to needs and requests of patients
Son/Daughter - Those seeking help
Guardian - Keep the peace, warn off violent SoA, protect the patients.
Providers - hunters and gatherers (default rank)
Healers - those who tend to physical wounds
Companions - those who simply sit and listen, comfort, or stay with the lonely and needy.
Holy Ones - priest/ess to help guide those in spiritual need

Pride Policies
- All species welcome.
- Violence is not allowed for any reason within the grounds.
- Respect the privacy of others.
- Everyone deserves support.
- Healing is a choice.

Ceremonies
Rebirth - This is a final step, when a Son or Daughter leaves behind their past life and is reborn to face life anew. It is conducted in one of the pools, and is generally a very private thing. The cleansing is done by the Shemasi. This role of Shemasi is filled by the Son or Daughter's closest adviser, one who helped them most through their healing journey. The actual ceremony varies according to the wishes and desires of the one being cleansed into new life. Once this is done, the individual chooses a new rank, or decides to leave the pride to make their way in the world, whole once more.

Pride Concept with Talencia – Healing/Sanctuary

Names:
1. Ndani Unganga: Inner healing (I like this one, I don’t think it’s too similar to any of the existing pride names either)
2. Kimbilo’pori: Wild sanctuary
3. Mtima’chemba: Spirit retreat
4. Mtima’stara: Refuge for the soul

Ranks:
Shemasi: Unisex term for a leader, one who is versed in healing and cleansing. We could do a pair, or as many as the pride needed at the time. Maybe do this as an RP earned rank for SoA who have recovered themselves and want to move on to helping others? This could sort of be coupled with the concept of a holy man. Not really a political force but those that try to hold everyone together.
Caretaker, Healer, Guardian (in lieu of Guard? Seems a little gentler), Companion, Provider all sound good to me.
Maybe Convalescent for Patient?

Definitely cool with all species, hybrids facing no persecution. Seers will not be pressed to share their visions. Violence, even things like consensual sparring, probably held to outside of the grounds. No rules on how to leave or come, no questioning of those seeking refuge. No rules on breeding that I can think of, although maybe some type of counseling suggested for those seeking long term relationships with other patients? Adolescent breeding not encouraged, but not condemned either.
