Cynthia smiled as the filly and her parents walked away, proud of her success. Nature themes were popular recently in Dream Valley and they were a big part of what kept her shop afloat. Of course she thanked her talent in designing, too. She took a glance at her surroundings, blinking in surprise. It feels like the shop was full just a few moments ago... Cynthia exhaled slowly, as if releasing a bit of held-in exhaustion. Ah well, still a half hour before lunch...Lets see if I can find something to busy myself with til then. She made her way to the back of the shop, doing small things along the way --- dusting curtains, straightening sketch paper displays, and moving signs around. She was going to enjoy the few moments of silence while she had them even as she awaited the next customers.

Separated from the family she had never known, her childhood and seemed to be a long and lonely time. But now she was an adult, and she wanted to do something good. Something worthwhile. Oh, for crying out loud, just... something! Frustrated and lonely she wandered around. She saw a pony seeming to be in distress. She rushed over to help, but the other pony hadn't been in need and was annoyed at being interrupted. A blast of magic slammed into her and threw her painfully into the store, crashing through the window and into a display case. She meant well, she always meant well, why did it never go...well....well?

Cynthia jumped, letting out a squeak of surprise as the loud noise echoed around the shop. She saw a pony on the floor and immediately rushed to her side. "Oh my goodness," she said breathlessly as she knelt next to her, "are you alright? Oh --- don't worry about the display, it's going to be changed out in the morning anyway --- are you hurt?" She held out a hoof toward Uro, "Are you hurt? I have a first aid kit in the back. What happened? Did someone attack you?" She noticed the broken glass and winced, moreso at the pain the pony must be in than the obvious issue of the glaring sun. "Or, I guess a better question would be "are you bleeding?" she amended, her other hoof going to the bow on the Seryphs tail. "Your bow is ripped...If you can stand I can get you another," she offered, then stopped, realizing what she'd just said. "Or that can wait, if you need medical attention...I'm sorry, my mind works so fast sometimes. First: are you injured?"

Her mind reeling from the magical blow, the trip through the glass, and the impact, she was not tracking the rapid speech of the other too terribly well. Every time she was about to answer, the other had begun speaking again, so she waited, hoping that the world would stop spinning at some point in the very near future. When the other asked, again, of she was hurt, and seemed not to be about to speak more, she risked answering. "Not sure." Okay, so maybe it wasn't the most clever or well thought out answer given how long she had been given to come up with it, but it was the best she could do. At least the sky had stopped moving, finally.
