“Jump Around” by House of Pain began to play throughout the arena as Tom Ostrowski emerged from behind the curtains and onto the stage. After the Winter Warfare pay-per-view, he still found himself with bandages around his chest. As promised, Tom had drawn a crude target in red across the front He moved left and right towards the crowd, motioning towards them and trying to hype them up for the upcoming match. "It's gonna be a good one!" Tom hollered to the crowd. After the lack of action last week for Tom, he had to make sure that the crowd got invested in him and the match. God forbid he went without another opponent for a second week in a row.
Pack it up, pack it in, let me begin
I came to win, battle me that's a sin
I won't tear the sack up, punk you'd better back up.
Try and play the role and the whole crew will act up
Get up, stand up (come on!) Come on, throw your hands up
If you've got the feeling jump across the ceiling
Muggs is a funk fest, someone's talking junk
Yo, I'll bust ‘em in the eye, and then I'll take the punks home
The Pole patted the tape on his arms as he began to make his way down the ramp.
“Entering now, weighing in at 250 lbs, from Warsaw, Poland, Tom… Ostrowski!” Tom, of course, neared the barricade to high-five the hands of those that found themselves fond of him. Approaching the ring, he walked up the steel steps and entered between the top and second rope. Ostrowski approached a turnbuckle and stood on the second pad, motioning with open arms towards the audience to elicit a cheer from the fans. He hopped down from the corner and did the same in the opposite one, clapping to encourage the fans to do the same. He even made a "raising the roof" motion, in time with the "Jump!"s in the song.
Feel it, funk it, amps it are junking
And I got more rhymes than there's cops at a Dunking
Donuts shop, sure 'nuff I got props
From the kids on the hill, plus my mom and my pops
I came to get down, I came to get down
So get out your seats and jump around
Jump around, jump around, jump around!
Jump up, jump up and get down!
Tom grinned to himself as he stepped down from the ropes. He was feeling loads better, and he was also warm. Tonight would be the best night to officially debut his skill set, and make a lasting impression on the guys. He turned towards the stage, waiting for his opponent to come out.
