These are a few things involved in the roleplay that aren't covered in the Game System.
Moving Around the World
If you want your character to move from one area to the next, make note of it at the bottom of your post like so (brackets are optional),
[Exit to Route 1]
Also, until one of your Pokemon knows a transportation ability such as "Fly", you may only move between areas that are connected by Routes. Each Route will specify which two areas it connects in its first post. It will also include a link to that area in its first post for your convenience.
Teams
You may want to consider suggesting that your Team set a few ground rules. If you are part of a team and encounter a rare Pokemon, it would be beneficial to agree on who's going to capture it.
You are allowed to capture a Pokemon and then give it to your Teammate.
You are allowed to let your Teammate borrow one of your Pokemon for a Gym Battle, but the Pokemon has a chance of not listening to them fully.
Cities
Each City will have its own thread. In the very first post of each City's thread, there will be information regarding the City, including places of interest such as Shops or various other special buildings, a description of the City, and sometimes optional quests. Unless stated otherwise, each City will have its own Pokemon Gym.
Included with the shops will be the prices of various items. If your Trainer wishes to purchase an item, they will need to roleplay the action of going to the store and asking the shopkeeper for the item. A crew member will then play the part of the shopkeeper and approve the transaction.
Pokemon Habitat
Throughout the Continent of Tohoku, there are various different kinds of terrain. Certain kinds of Pokemon will inhabit different kinds of terrain. In the Pokemon Database file that you downloaded, each Pokemon will list which habitat it is present in. Some habitats are chock full of different kinds of Pokemon, so it will take quite a bit of looking around if you're aiming to find something specific.
The terrain of a given area will be listed next to its name like this,
Route 1 - Grassland
Pokemon that appear in the Grassland terrain would appear on this Route. If an area doesn't have any Pokemon available for catpure, it will not have a terrain type next to its name.
Things to do
Quests
In the first post of a City's thread, they may list a few quests to do. Sometimes, the quest may only be taken if someone on your Team has entered a certain Class. Quests will include various rewards, such as money, items, or even Pokemon that are given to you. Sometimes it will depend on who your character is! If you wish to take up a quest, you'll need to roleplay your character visiting the City's bulletin board and then suggesting the quest to your Team. If everyone is in agreement, a crew member will guide you through the quest.
Capturing Wild Pokemon
One of the most rewarding experiences in this game will be capturing Wild Pokemon. If you want to go out looking for Wild Pokemon, your character should roleplay suggesting this to your Team. You may look inside of Cities (the habitat will be Urban) or in the habitats that exist outside of the City limits. Each City will be located in a different region, so you can just wander outside of the City, or roleplay your character asking around town for information about the surrounding habitats. A crew member will guide you through this process if this is what you choose to do.
Collecting Badges and Entering the Pokemon League
Each of Tohoku's twelve major cities will have a Pokemon Gym. Every so often, the continent's Pokemon League will host a large scale tournament in order to test the skill's of Tohoku's Pokemon Trainers. In order to enter this tournament, your character will need to have traveled around the continent and collected at least eight of the twelve badges. Eight of Tohoku's Gyms are set up in the standard format. They will specialize in an individual Pokemon type and will award money and a Gym Badge. The other four Gyms in Tohoku are known as Advanced Gyms. These Gyms won't specialize in an individual elemental type, but they will feature some sort of theme. The Advanced Gyms will always give a greater reward than regular Gyms. Money and a Badge will be included, but there will definitely be more to these rewards.
The Sky is the Limit
What you may do in this game isn't limited to these things. If you want to do something that you think is out of the ordinary, simply suggest it and a crew member may help to bring it to life!
Pokemon Tabletop Adventures
A roleplaying guild based on Pokemon that utilizes an in-depth game system in order to offer an experience that resembles the video games.
