Personality:
~She finds it extremely difficult to open up to others but can, on rare occasions, let her guard down enough to let herself have fun.
~Blunt and to the point, Mizu rarely has time for niceties. If she's polite, it's because she's either chosen to or is forced to be.
~She has an almost sibling-like relationship with her companion, Pyrhha the Phoenix.

Character Flaws:
~Extremely hotheaded and easy to anger, she tends to rush into things without thinking them through.

Biography:
~Childhood: Growing up on the streets, Mizu has never known a comfortable life. Her parents both died of sickness when she was very young and as a result she was left alone and destitute. As a child she wandered Vatra, stealing to survive. At the age of 9 she had the luck to discover a large red jewel that had, she guessed, been dropped by some rich passerby. Hoping to sell it for a fortune she reached down to pick it up. The jewel reacted to her touch, drawing heat from her body until Mizu was too weak to stand. Watching it in fear she noticed that it was beginning to glow brighter and brighter until eventually it burst into flames. She covered her eyes to block out the blinding light and when she could finally see again there was no jewel but a bird the size of an eagle made of pure flame in it's place. Not knowing what to do with it she sat there, too drained to move. Her stomach growled suddenly and the bird scattered. Staring at the ground and cursing her rotten luck she didn't notice the bird fly back until it dropped a bag of dried peas in her lap. And thus the friendship between Mizu and Pyrhha was born.

~Teen years: As a teen Mizu was a proficient thief and was wanted in several towns. She was widely known for using her pet to distract shopkeepers while she took her pick of their goods. It was at 16 that she made the mistake of trying to steal from a general in the Vatran army. Caught redhanded she was given a choice. Become his personal servant or be thrown into the dungeons. Obviously Mizu chose the former. Watching him closely as he trained everyday she became fascinated by him and quickly took up the art of the blade in her free time, practising in secret. Eventually, when the General had deemed her sentence complete, she was set free, only to join the military voluntarily.

~Present day: An accomplished swordswoman, Mizu left the army after a dispute with her superiors. Considered a liability because of her temper she now wanders Vatra and beyond as a mercenary for hire.

Elemental Abilities:
~ Can control and create fire
~ Can use her fire to blind others, allowing herself to escape danger.
~ Can transfer heat from herself to objects, effectively melting weapons etc...
(depending on the size and strength of the object in question this takes more heat and thus more energy to accomplish. If the object is too dense she can succumb to hypothermia before she accomplishes it, so she has to be very careful.

Weapons: Able to use a wide variety of weapons, ranging from swords and spears to bows, Mizu is typically seen with a longsword hanging across the back of her waist. If a fight gets too tough though she has a second sword strapped to her back that she uses in her off hand.
If she has neither weapon to hand she can, and will, uses any weapon she can get.

~ Fire: As proficient with a blaze as she is with a sword, she can create a flame as delicate and as thin as silk or as robust and impenetrable as steel.

~Ranger Not as adept as someone from said class, she's wandered the wilds enough to know basic tracking skills and what not to eat in the forests.
~Affinity - Pyrhha Her bond with her friend Pyrhha allows Mizu to call upon her to scout the area and, on occasion, to help distract her enemies.

Personality:
~Extremely loyal to Mizu, she will follow her anywhere regardless of danger.
~Harbouring a strange sense of honour Pyrhha, like Mizu, will not attack those too weak to defend themselves.
~Although loyal to her, she will ignore Mizu if she believes that her actions will result in trouble for both of them or if she (Mizu) is being rude.

Flaws:
~Pyrhha gets jealous very easily and if she believes that someone is getting too close to Mizu they may need to take care that they don't get burned.
