High Thicket Of Steep Decline.

This is a fairly small and secluded patch of forest on the mountain side. It is a difficult place to get to because below it are sheer cliffs and above it there are sheer rock walls as well. The forest is secluded and fairly safe, with no predators to stalk amongst the trees and no game to hunt. However animals do live here, and they are rarely ever seen, though signs of them are always present. And there are strange creatures here as well. Creatures of magic.

If you encounter a monster, role play at least 200 words of how you deal with the situation, and then roll a 4 sided dice in your next post to determine what you get from said monster encounter. 19.) Mountain Trog: A large troll like creature with a hulking form and stony craggy skin. It wields clubs made of tree trunks and boulders. It does not often venture down from the mountains except to commune with other trogs. Do not let the exterior fool you. It is smarter than you can believe.

24.) Forest Trog: A small, goblin like creature made of plant matter, with large leaf like ears and branch like arms. Typically found amongst old or dead trees in very old forests. Able to teleport through trees.

Walking through the trees so high up on a mountain was rather nice Duncan thought. He came across what looked like a freshly fallen tree. A couple of grubs were peeking out of the broken log. The next time I go fishing those could come in use. Maybe I will get more than one fish then. He managed to get a hold of three of them, the others went hiding deeper in the wood.

Once the dizziness had passed, Duncan got up and looked around for the source of the noise he had heard. There was no living thing around, but there were some more bright red feathers like the ones he found before. It must have been a bird that startled him. It was gone now, but he did collect the feathers though.

Arrow Laughed as he cam to a stop at the forest’s borders, He turned around and shouted down the path, “I beat ya Morlee!!!” Then he advanced into the forest. He didn’t make it far before he found three deer rib bones scattered about. He picked these up and placed them in his rucksack. It was a good start.

As the fight continues with the forest trog Morlee gets over his embarrassment and shows the trog just what he is capable of. The fight does not last much longer before a good stab puts a end to the fight. Morlee stands over his fallen foe for a moment then squats down to see what reward he could claim from his dead enemy. After rooting around for a few minutes he finds four Faerie cloth. After shoving the cloth into his rucksack Morlee buries his enemy and flies off in search of his best friend. It doesn't take him long to find Arrow and to land in a tree next to him. "Hey I'm back." He said grinning "Just beat a Forest Trog."

Morlee grins and mutters "Thanks." as Arrow compliments his fight. He then makes a playful swipe at the small ruby that Arrow had found. Of course he missed in his halfhearted attempt to steal the gem. It would have been funny if he had succeeded but the consequences might not have been pretty. Morlee grinned and lead the way again. Only to come face to face with his second forest trog of the day. Morlee froze for a split second then lunged forward drawing his stone knife as he did so. Only for the trog to teleport out of his way. Morlee paused from his charge to look around for the trog. After a few seconds of careful search he noticed that the trog was in the process of stealing the faerie cloth that he had won earlier. This made the young frax angry and he attacked the trog more fiercely than he had the first one that he had run into. His shriek of rage was to high pitch for most to hear. Had there been other frax in the area they would most likely come and joined in the fight. The trog didn't have a chance to teleport away

Arrow laughed. “Empty fairy Cocoon. Should be useful in sewing if I can get it spun into silk thread. And Considering It’s a fairy cocoon, I suspect the thread would have somewhat magical properties.” Then He smiled and put it in his rucksack. “I wonder what we’ll happen upon next?” Before taking a step into the forest.

Arrow laughed a little louder at the thought of what he was about to say. “You’ll have to settle for a foot!” And then he lifted his right leg and then stepped on the trog before it could get to a tree. He heard and felt the crunch. He knew it was dead. Then he lifted his foot and crouched down so he could see what The trog had on him. “You do the honors Morlee. My hand is a little took big for this. Hopefully this thing has something good for us.” and then he looked at Trog carefully and waited for Morlee to do the search.
