Share with us your favourite bedtime story with your precious voice! Just submit a vocaroo! Here are some questions you may ask:
How do we submit entries? We will be accepting vocaroos posted in this thread. For private entries, PM lilgemangel and Prince of Hyrule.
What stories are allowed?Whatever you would consider a bedtime story! Any of
Grimm`s fairy tales, mythologies, The Little Mermaid, your own summary of Disney movies, or any story you think we would enjoy! You could submit it to us beforehand if you'd like our opinions! I hope you get the gist.
Does it have to be in English?Nope, but we do ask for translations. For example, a translation for the first sentence at 0:00, then at the beginning of the next, etc. would help us follow the tone of your voice to appreciate your story!
How many entries are you looking for?We don't have a limit on how many each person can do. It would be nice if some of the more popular ones weren't submitted more than once, but we would welcome any entry you decide to submit. We know that we all love The Little Mermaid.
emotion_kirakira May I use my own words, rather than reading the book word for word? You may read any variation of the story or reinterpret it with your own words/perspective.
How long does the vocaroo need to be?We don't want to impose any rules, but a bedtime story is maybe two minutes and ten sentences minimum? Up to ten minutes, maybe? With a reading pace as you see fit. Actually, everything is up to you!!
When does the event end?We don't want to set a hard deadline because we want to give you ample time to submit something. We know you are busy IRL too! We are looking for about ten entries before we close this event.
Does it matter when we submit them?If you want to claim a participation prize, we will put you on a list. We will ask if you want to participate in the prize pool and distribute all the prizes at the end.
