March 17th, 2006: Happy St. Patricks Day! It's been forever since I've written anything in Amethyst's diary, but I have set up the front page of Amethyst's new journal and began setting up her journal entries and archiving!

February 10th, 2005: Even though Amethyst isn't back from her quest, my mind is still on her. I have added my own black-and white-fanart piece to her diary! (see Fanart)

January 9th, 2005: Amethyst left her diary! What's a parent to do! gonk .... ninja

December 3rd, 2004: Amethyst has acquired an archon feather, thanks to FlareWolf's Gunner! Her journey towards adulthood continues!

November 27th, 2004: I've finally caught up on all my homework, and now I can post! Amethyst has finally told MoogerMint about her quest, and now it begins! 3nodding

November 15th, 2004: Wow, a whole month.... sweatdrop *chews on schoolwork* Today is catch-up day, for much can happen in one month's time, and it is time for Amethyst's Quest! On to the entries! scream

Attitude: Amethyst is rather mellow and laid back when she's not stressing over mishaps or her own feelings on important matters. She is very diligent and finds herself overthinking things that were not meant to be dwelled on. She is sensitive to what people think about her due to a bad experience when she was but a youth and was made fun of on account of the color of her fur. Anyone that is nice to her, she automatically thinks of as a friend, so can be misled due to this default.

Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species: Kitsune
Hair: Moogz's hair is short and fuzzy, layered at about two-and-a-half inches all around in a bob. It is very pale, platinum blonde that in some lights looks to be pure white.
Eyes: Her eyes are wide and expressive, but even though this is the case, she can hide her feelings well (that is, when she feels like it). At a faraway glance her eyes appear to be a lighter shade of green, though upon closer inspection are light blue with a ring of yellow around each pupil.
Physique: She is of average build, sometimes appearing skinnier than she actually is in certain clothing. She grew up in a well-meaning household before setting off on her own, and was therefore well-fed and taken care of, as her body shows.
Physical Traits: As her kitsune blood portrays, she has black-tipped fox ears adourning her head and a characteristic bushy reddened tail. Her skin is very pale, matching nicely with her nearly-white hair and sometimes making her appear ghostly.
Clothing: MoogerMint doesn't always wear a specific line of clothing. She wears anything from small tank tops to baggy sweaters, though she hates it when the shirt stops above the bellybutton. If she did wear such a shirt, she usually end up pulling her pants up higher to hide it, not because she's embarrassed, but because it's too "breezy." Her pants are usually thick jeans or light ski pants, though she doesn't much care. However, she is not partial to shorts. Her favorite foot attire are oddly-colored socks and her sandals, though she does not always wear her socks with these. She also likes hiking boots when it's colder out. She does not pay much heed to coloration, and because of this sometimes clashes, though she's getting better at this.
Abilities: Because of her kitsune blood, she has very sensitive ears and can hear things not many others can. Her balance is exceptional and she has retractable claws on her fingers and toes. She is able to transport herself and a few others from the "land of the living" and into the astral plane. Due to the demon trapped in her body, she sometimes shows signs of much more powerful, demonic powers, but these are a complete mystery.
Attitude: She is rather shy when around unknown people but tries to get along, sometimes acting a little too overbearing for others to handle. She can be quite hyper when she feels good, and has a comical and sometimes morbid sense of humor. All in all, she has a good heart and wants no pain or suffering to befall anyone except those who "deserve" it, though such a wish she knows could never come true. She can be quite the softie unless angered, then she is quite the force to be reckoned with!
Likes: She enjoys spending time with her adopted family, but knows one day they may just want her to mind her own business. She likes good attention, and to hang out with friends when her condition allows. Her hobbies include reading (usually mangas), writing, and drawing mostly, but is learning with this family not to be so antisocial.
Dislikes: She absolutely hates it when anyone is angry with her, and usually ends up going out of her way to put things right again. She dislikes snooping, but knows sometimes it can't be helped to fix a problem. Above all, she hates Amanesh, the demon who has found a home in her body and soul, but tries to mask any indication that he is there.

Amethyst as she first arrived into my care. She is often distraught and distances herself from others, though I can see the need to be with them in her eyes. She is very open with me, and I can tell we will get along great.

Amethyst has finished her quest! Her fur has lightened and runes have appeared on her fur. She was a bit uneasy about her new body, but has learned to like it. She is very protective of her new sister and me, along with her new friends. All in all, I think she has learned to deal with the color of her fur.

Gunner -- The first friend Amethyst made and for a while the only thing she had in her life. Amethyst and Gunner are siblings, and she is very devoted to him. He was also the one to make becoming an adult possible, by giving her one of his wing feathers.

Farren -- A true friend, Amethyst met him when she ran off in despair over how others made fun of her pink fur. He told her that she looked lovely and cheered her up, and she hasn't felt so self-conscious since.

Xu -- The archon that helps Kohenkyo out with the shop. Although Amethyst only met her once, she revers her as a role model. Xu was the one that helped Amethyst out with her quest, explaining what she needed to do in order to become an adult.

Karsaa -- Although the two only met once and only briefly, Amethyst had taken a liking to her. She and her brother, Gunner, were the last archons she ever saw before becoming an adult.

Chrono & Shylyn -- The two siblings have made a profound impact on her and Thenyl's lives. They seem always to be around when they need them, and have grown into very close friends.

Mynik -- Another archon Amethyst met only briefly and wishes she knew better. She seemed to be very close to Farren, the first archon Amethyst met outside of family.

Tarachand -- Amethyst and him have gotten off on the wrong foot. He seems to take everything personally and snapped at her when she was defending her sister, though she hopes to better acquaint herself with him, due to Shylyn's liking of him.
