The first item on your list is to brew some coffee. Thankfully there are a few brew-o-matic 5000 somewhat neglected machines to one side of the facility. After scraping off the cobwebs and slime, it is almost as good as new! The second you get the machine running, there seems to be a mad scramble and then a lineup somewhat forming of people wanting coffee
- Create a PRP thread and title it [QUEST PRP ] Coffee Brewing (PLAYER NAMES HERE). - Next, write your introduction posts to your team having gathered their wits and gotten ready to do the process. When you are ready, have your team start! If you are a multi team you can have one person doing the sales on cash, and one person brewing, or two people brewing and making coffee etc. If it is solo mode you are all on your own. Roll 2d6 to see what order comes in (combine the first 1d6 word with the 2nd one), and it is up to your student to creatively figure out how to make it with the machine (feel free to rp as needed, basic supplies are in the fridge such as curdled blood milk, etc etc).
Second 1d6: 1. Latte 2. Cappuccino 3. Iced Coffee 4. Tea 5. Milk 6. Soda
- Remember that the quests below are just MECHANICS. It is up to you to breathe life to them, to interact with other players and make things meaningful! Once you have done THREE orders you are done! Mark quest as finished!
Aisha had no experience with the Haunted House. She didn't know much of anything about horsemen and when she found herself suddenly ripped from the school halls and wandering some strange house, only to once more be relocated to this odd place the zombie could only wonder if coming to Amityville had been a foolish move on her part.
A list of duties was thrust into her hand and the ghoul was bumped and hustled until she found herself pushed against a wall.
"Make coffee." Her orange eyes darted up to the slimy dusty machines nearby. "s**t I don't know how to.." Aisha muttered to herself.
"Umm.. scuse me." There was someone in ice colored clothing in front of her and she tapped them on the shoulder. They were blocking her from the coffee machine. "I'm sposed to work on that machine."
Edel was quite fine with being relegated to coffee duty again rather than being dispatched into the desert for more deliveries. Whether or not those who were lining up for coffee from her were clearly ignorant of the previous incidents, or were just desperately in need of their coffee fix, the ghoul was back in business.
"Your Ichor Latte, sir," she called cheerfully, apparently taking the internship quite seriously.
The ghoul felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to find a zombie who was apparently sent to take over her shift. "Oh hello!" she greeted brightly, moving aside to let the other ghoul take over the machine, "All yours~"
"I uhh.. actually.." Aisha looked uneasy at the very regal looking ghoul. She was dressed to a much higher quality and seemed very confident and put together. Truth be told, she was a lot more confident before Amityville and the odd goings on of the school had knocked her for a loop.
"I don't really know what I'm doing!" The zombie blurted as the coffee line seemed to grow. "You mind helping me.. maybe?"
"EXCUSE ME." The next reaper in line was a fat one with red, annoyed face. "A BLOOD ICED COFFEE I SAID. WEREN'T YOU LISTENING?"
"Ah... uhh yeah!!" Red-orange energy wisped from her mouth in her nervousness as she played with the machine. "Blood.. blood.. blood..." Her hood fell back, dreadlocks whipping as she started to look. "BLOOD!"
Aisha hurried to the fridge as the coffee perked and came back with a cup of ice and a pump of the blood syrup she'd found.
"Umm... umm.. Blood iced coffee!" She handed it over in a hurry and turned back to the other ghoul with an envigorated grin. Perhaps the work was good for her? "I'm Aisha."
The ghoul seemed confused, which might have been a given since all of them here were. It was a wonder how the people at the agency had yet to recognise that they were experiencing influx of lost students instead of interns.
"Actually," Edel whispered back, "neither do I." The frost demon flashed the zombie a reassuring grin, obliging her request.
"Invisible Milk" the reaper next in line drawled.
"Invisible orders are a bit tricky," Edel explained, getting a mug of milk ready. "The jug is somewhere around here on the counter, but you'll need a bit of imagination to find it." A small sprinkling of snow was cast over the counter, and where it did not land on the surface stood the invisible jug with the invisible liquid.
The frost demon picked it up and added it to the mug, vanishing the milk as it mixed. The order was handed over the the reaper and the ghoul turned back to give Aisha a grin. "I'm Edel, nice to meet you!"
Aisha's smouldering eyes widened when Edel sprinkled snow over the counter. "OH.. awesome. I don't have any cool powers." She shrugged. "Though I'm a zombie that doesn't rot. That's pretty nice I guess."
"Blood Tea." A thin woman piped up as soon as the fellow had recieved his invisible drink. Aisha must have made a decent blood drink as this was her second in a row. Thankfully she knew all about making tea. It was all her papa drank.
Within seconds she'd poured the water and let the tea steep. She waited a moment, not handing it over to the customer until she was sure it had steeped enough.
"Nice to meet you by the way." Aisha eased into this task rather comfortably once she realized there wasn't any suffering and she wasn't in some backwards universe. "Your from school right?" She motioned to their matching skull pins. "I keep having weird classes and things so I can't ever be too sure what's going on." The ghoul laughed.
"Oh, but I think you do!" Edel replied, a little curious and excited about the red-orange energy that Aisha emitted.
The frost demon prepared an order of blood soda in the meantime, carefully layering the soda over the denser blood syrup. A straw and some ice were added to the glass before it was handed off to a rather hippy looking vampire.
"Mhm," she nodded, noticing the zombie's skull pin too. "Yes it does get a little strange..." she laughed half-heartedly knowing better, but she didn't want to upset the ghoul whom it seemed like she had just started her term at Amityville. "Even after three years, I can never be sure what some of the professors have in mind, really."
The frost demon had started clearing up the counter, noticing that the line was now ending. "Which classes have you taken so far, Aisha?"
"You've survived for 3 years?!" She made a mind-blown motion. "I took a class on the different holiday worlds.. but I got teleported to Thanksgiving world.." She began to prepare the skeletal soda which was mostly just plain soda with a skeletal shaped straw and a bit of bone dust around the edge.
"Then like my first day I went into this weird door and people were trying to kill each other. And then I get teleported here!" She shook her head, earrings and beads audible clacking. "How can you keep track of anything when you are getting shot off into different dimensions every five minutes?!"

Just barely, she kept to herself. She couldn't remember the number of times she had been dissipated by now. "Oh, that's...not too bad was it?" she tried to console the ghoul lamely. She did quite like the idea of visiting Christmasville after all.
Edel frowned as she realised she knew exactly what door Aisha was talking about. And to think she had tried so hard at convincing them not to enter it.
"Typically," she didn't really know how explain it, "typically, we would just wander around until we got back. I mean the Haunted House, which we sometimes end up in from just walking along the corridors and hallways of our school."
"This," she ushered at everything, "is new to me too."
"... You'll find that Amityville is full of surprises," she said, her tone tinged with a little sadness. They were such poor things, the students.
