Officially Open! Please don't leave me hanging, y'all, I put work into this.
A cute girl dressed for work in a light blue apron approaches the Downtown Diner and inserts a key in the lock. She props the door open and flips the Open/Closed sign to open before moving on to her morning duties. After flipping all the chairs down from the tables and bar top, she wipes down all the surfaces with a wet rag. The gaze zooms in to watch her pluck a shiny gold rectangular pin from near the register and pin it to her apron. Zoom in a little more, and her hand drops to reveal "Hello! My name is Hiya!" The diner is officially ready for business!
I walk up to the Diner with my laptop on my side. I look first to make sure its open before I enter the Diner. "Umm Hello? Are you open?" I ask when I see no one but me and the girl in the Diner. I stand in the door way ready to leave if its still not open yet.

*leaps up and down* YAAAY A customer! We are indeed open, sugar. Have a seat anywhere! *spies the laptop* In case you're wondering, we do indeed have free wifi.
I see the girl leap up and down like a kid. So I giggle to the reaction the person had when I came into the Diner. "Oh good then I have a place to use my laptop." I say with a smile as I sit at a small table near the girl and open my laptop on the table. "Ummm I am new here what do you recommend here?" I ask as I look around still a bit shocked I am the only customer here.

I see the girl leap up and down like a kid. So I giggle to the reaction the person had when I came into the Diner. "Oh good then I have a place to use my laptop." I say with a smile as I sit at a small table near the girl and open my laptop on the table. "Ummm I am new here what do you recommend here?" I ask as I look around still a bit shocked I am the only customer here.
*I pull out a small pad of paper and a pencil from my apron and start tapping the pencil on my chin in thought* Well, the catfish plate and the chicken tenders would be my favorites, but really everything we have is pretty awesome. What were you thinking of having? Dinner, dessert, breakfast...?
I see the pad and her readiness for the order. "Ummm I did not have anything set in mind. I just wanted to sit down work on my work maybe make a few new friends and have something nice and warm to drink." I say to the girl still thinking over what I want to get. Then I made up my mind at last. "Do you have any cheese cake? If you do I would love to have some with any warm drink." I ask with a smile.

It's not on our menu, but *glances around the empty diner* it looks like I'll have plenty of time to whip some up for you! Be back in a jiffy. *I take off around back to the kitchen and sling up a beautiful cheese cake, to the sounds of much clanking. In no time flat, I'm back with a slice of cheesecake on a plate and a tall mug of hot cocoa. * Here you go, doll.
I hear her say that the cheesecake is not on there menu but she will make it anyways. I start to feel a bit bad to make her work just on my food. When she returns with the cheesecake I say. "Sorry I did not mean to order something not on your menu. And thank you." I take the cheesecake and hot cocoa with a smile and place them next to my laptop. Then I look around the cafe again still seeing no one at all. I pat the chair next to mine and say. "Want to sit down? It does not look like your busy at all."
