Personality:Aoshi is usually the first to give his thoughts on a situation and can usually be found to have a rather friendly personality when the time calls for it. During situations in which he deems high risk he seems to flip on the drop of a dime. His attitude turns to that of someone trying to survive, someone that has seen death and battles over the land, regardless of whether or not it's between humans or elemental.
- Character Flaws: Aoshi is blunt and can at times seem uncaring. Another flaw which doesn't come from his character is that he's mortal. No experience with ranged weapons such as bows. Loves the Bottle. Likes to cause minor trouble for fun. (Bar fights, stealing. Just don't tell his mentor)
Biography:
- Childhood –

She named the small Boy Aoshi, Aoshi Trsu giving him her last name.

She was so happy, she had wished his father could have seen him, facial features such like his that she wept as she watched him grow up. She was happy that she had been graced with this young boy, she had began to teach him in the ways of her traditional way of life. She noticed that as he grew he was more adventurous, coming back to the tavern with a new story every day or a new complaint about his mischief. She did cherish her son, though even in times of peace the worst of things can happen. Around the age of seven, Aoshi had come home to find his mother in tears, and the doctors leaving the establishment carrying two bodies. The older couple had finally passed, and in dying they had left the only thing they had left to him and his mother. Having grown fond of the young boy and the mother they felt as if they owed it to her from before, watching her grief, and her happiness in the greatest of times. Now it was theirs, and Aoshi's mother would continue to treat and run it as the couple before her.

Aoshi continued to help his mom as they tended to the tavern, she had no longer needed to make and sell the dresses and the kimono's that she had been known for, but special occasions called for special dresses. She had even made her son a nice black haori, it draped over his shoulders and hung down past his waist, but he didn't care, and she had made it so he could grow into it. Even though their lives had picked up in terms of living a better life, the rest of the country had not. If your village had the money you could hire a Shogun or Damiyo to watch over and protect you from bandits, or what ever else decided to come into town and wreck everything. Hitori was not one of those villages, they barely had the money to keep themselves running without having to migrate into another village.

During the beginning of spring the village was introduced to a bandit encampment that had settled just outside the village, and were beginning to encroach upon the village and its people. It wasn't everyday that they had been visited, but during the week the village had begun to expect a visit from the ever increasing threat of the bandits. The tavern was the main place that they hadn't ransacked, it was more of a hangout for them until they were all good and drunk and stumbled back to their camp to ready themselves for the next day of pillaging and plundering of merchants that passed by. Having been completely drained of money and it's supplies the village didn't really have anything else left for the bandits, so that day they had made it clear that they were leaving the area. They began to toy with the villagers, taking what ever else they wanted or needed and some even killing them for fun. It wasn't until they reached the Tavern did they find it empty; or at least it seemed. They began to look all over for the woman, they wanted to take her with them because of her beauty. Looking around they were growing even more restless and began to knock over tables and scream for her, telling her what they were going to do to her. She hadn't thought they'd actually go looking for her, as she was hiding with her son in the back room of the tavern. It didn't take long for them to actually find her as they pulled her out of the room, breaking a couple of things as they threw her to the ground. Aoshi ran to her side and covered her lap with his body, the men just laughed and began to kick him, she stopped them promising to go with them if they let her son go. A wicked smile came across their faces as they agreed with her, tying her hands together one of them began to lead her out of the tavern. Listening with sharp ears Aoshi's mother heard the kill order of the son, she quickly slammed her petite shoulder into the mans rib and pull his small knife from his waist. She took the hilt into her hands and slammed it right into his side, turning and running for her son.

As she entered into the tavern's main area she saw him, beaten and brushed as he was covering himself while they stood over him still kicking, one of them held a long blade above his head before quickly bringing it down. Aoshi's mother ran forward covering her son at the last minute before feeling the cold blade run across her back. The sharpness of the blade cut right through her spine, and instantaneous kill. Her blood ran from her back over into the floor and even some of it poured onto Aoshi himself. His eyes began to swell up with tears before he covered himself with her body, he laid there still not moving, almost as if the blade had got him as well. The men just laughed and before they could check on him were called away, they left the tavern and watched as another threw fire into the building and onto the building, watching it now slowly start to engulf in flames. Not long after they ran from the village Aoshi pushed his dead mother off, her blood staining his face and haori she had made for him, he just shook her, wanting her to wake up, why wouldn't she answer him. She was staring at him but she wouldn't talk. Sitting there he felt the heat getting to him, he didn't want to leave her, but a beam from the ceiling fell down, it scared him and he quickly ran through the front of the building. Turning back only to see another beam fall across the door way, watching his mother disappear and be covered by the burning building. Aoshi turned around seeing some people running from the village he wanted to follow but he couldn't keep up with them, but running from the village into the forest he stopped looking around, he hadn't been this far out by himself. Sure his mother allowed him to play in the woods, but not by himself, she would normally go with him, but not even they had traveled this far. And the bad thing for Aoshi was that it was becoming nighttime. The sun was setting quickly over the horizon, and the tree's didn't help with lighting the way. Coming into a small clearing he just moved to the nearest tree and huddled down, his knees coming to his chest while he began to settle himself in for the night. Slowly his eye's began to close as he drifted off into sleep.

The small boy rested along the cold ground, the sun had set already and darkness over took the land; the evening before the boy and his village had been ransacked for the last time. Buildings and bodies still smoldered throughout the night, hot coals sparked and allowed faint light to escape the dark area. But Aoshi wasn't in the village anymore, his small blood drenched body had followed his fellow villagers into the forest, getting lost and separated from them for the simple fact he couldn't keep up. And now his small body had found itself resting, trying to sleep at the base of a tree trunk; hardly covered by anything but a wet and cold haori the boys body shook, having fallen asleep several hours ago it was a surprise that his head shot up. A snapping noise echoed throughout the forest, leaves began to rustle and shake, what seemed like branches breaking started to bop off in the distance. Aoshi's eyes were wide open, his small chest rising and falling at an increasing rate while he slowly began to pull and push himself upward on his feet. Grabbing onto the tree the boy just scooted himself around it, trying to hide in hopes of not being seen by whatever it was that was out there.

Now waiting behind the large tree, Aoshi's eyes became even wider as a small deer like animal appeared within the opening he had been in, the thing looked hurt, its fur was stained red on its backside and its leg seemed to have been crushed by something. Not long after the small animal appeared a larger cat like beast appeared, jumping from the shadows and pouncing directly along the small animal's body. Crushing it into the ground large maw open and came down across the throat of the small deer choking it to death. Aoshi shocked covered his mouth but it was too late, his shocked breath had escaped him and now the large creatures golden eyes stared forward at him. A low growling noise came as the predator began to move towards its secondary prey, after all one small deer wasn't enough; but two however could have been a meal. As the creature spotted the young boy its body began to crouch down stalking the young one, its paws falling silent against the soft ground, Aoshi trying not to look was hiding behind the tree, hoping that he couldn't be seen. And then the lunge forward, the beasts mouth mouthed as a loud menacing growl echoed throughout the night and then a thud. The creature fell silent to the ground, a man stood holding a long blade out, his body down on one knee as red liquid slowly poured off the tip of the blade. Tainting the ground with red once more.

The older gentleman slowly stood his feet much like the beast made barely any noise, the blade was slowly wiped by the man's over coat before sheathing the blade back into its proper place. Turning now the man waited, watching the side of the tree as the young Aoshi's face appeared, he was scared but he barely showed it in is face, the older man was soon joined by three others, they all had blades of some kind and something wrapped around their back or tied to their waist. Small and big creatures alike, it was a hunting party. Inquiry would soon get the best of the older man as he wished for Aoshi to come out, motioning to him before kneeling down to meet him at his own height. Cautious Aoshi hesitated and hid once more, but unlike the bandits and unlike the large beast they hadn't made any move to come for him, rather then allow him to come to them. Sliding away from the tree, his arms fell down to his side, slowly walking out from behind it and out into the open to see the group of men that were so heavily armed. The old man brought the young boy closer to him to get a look at him, he knew he'd have to take him back to the village let them decide what to do with the young boy. But not before asking Aoshi what had happened. Spending a couple of minutes telling the man about his village and what had happened earlier in the day two of the other three men scouted ahead to make sure that the bandits had truly left the area. When they returned they reported to the man whispering into his ear so Aoshi could not hear the devastation that had befallen his village and its demise. Knowing that the young boy could not return there they would have to take him with them. Reaching down the older man that had saved Aoshi from the large cat slide his hand down into his gripping tightly before raising his lips into a warm smile for the boy. Looking up Aoshi stared and nodded, his own hand gripped back and they began to make their way through the woods, back to the village the men had come from.

Traveling through the night the boy was barely able to stay awake until they stopped, rubbing his eyes trying to stay up for the men the older swordsman turned looking at Aoshi and smiled, turning his back to him before motioning him to get on his back. Crawling along his back, his face was warmed by the man's long hair, his coat was warm too. Slowly his eye's shut, his little arms clasped around the mans neck and his legs were held up under the mans arms. Now they could move quicker, and the small boy didn't have to walk anymore. Taking off in small dashes they moved at a quicker speed, once more disappearing into the dark woods.

It wasn't long though as the sun began to break over the horizon, the four men and one boy made their way out of the forest a small hill now shown to them and in the bottom of the hilly area a larger city than the boy had lived in. It was even along the shore, their was a small docking area for trade; this village was one of the more luxury villages. It had a port, it seemed to have good ground for farming and even seemed to be protected well. Moving along the hill down into the village the men were welcomed home from a successful hunt, other began to inquire about the small boy latched to the older man's back. A small chuckle came from him while brushing off their comments, but as the men broke for the day the older gentleman still held the boy on his back, taking him back to his home for the time being. Entering into the house that's door was covered by two long clothes one black in color the other white. As he returned to his home he looked around, there wasn't too much within his place, but it was clear he was doing well for himself. Jade placed along the walls, some ornate weapons adorned the walls and multiple stands that the man had. Along the back of the first room lay a sliding door that lead into a larger area, but that was for later. Moving over to the side the man brought the young boy down as he seated himself. Pulling his hands a part the man just slowly placed the boy down in his bed, allowing his head to rest along his pillow before taking the thin sheet and covering him. While he stood up he stared back at the boy and sighed, he was truly sorry for what had happened to his village and even wondered if anyone was alive from the attack; but time would tell. And he'd have to wait for the young Aoshi to wake.

- Teen Years – As he grew the swordsman began to train the young boy everyday, the first couple of years he was trained in the art of swordsmanship and endurance. The rigorous training schedule varied from each day, it wasn't until the young boy who was the age of seven at the time having met the man who saved his life turned 12 did the other other training start. Learning how to hide one self in the crowd of people, blending in with the cities and the learning the ways of the world. During these years he began training with other weapons, mostly small daggers that could be thrown or even shorter swords. One thing he learned especially well in besides the art of swords was the tonfa. It was used mostly for silent kills and low profile kills, being able to cover them within his clothes.
