~One x One between Agent Rissa & Luthien Padme~

~Profiles~

Rissa's Profile:
------

Name: Alana Rei Carter

Nickname(s): None so far.

Age: I'm 19

Gender: Obviously female, to anyone with half a brain.

Species: I'm a Demon Mage

Position: Do you want to die...? Fine. I'm mostly dominant with a small submissive side. It only comes out when I trust someone completely.

Personality: I am generally not trusting at first. I come off as cold and bluntly honest. If I don't like you, you'll know it. Once someone has broken down some of my protective walls, I'm warmer and talkative. Secretly I'm a very loving person, and I'm extremely protective of those I care about. I love kids, but they don't generally like me because of my harsh appearance and cold at first personality. If I see you as someone who needs help, I will help you.

History: I was born to a demon father and a magician mother. My father was insanely abusive after I was born, because my mother died after giving birth to me. Or so I was told... I found out later on that he killed her in one of his rages. He kicked me out when I was thirteen, forcing me onto the streets with almost nothing. Living on the streets was a rough life, to say the least. I had to steal to stay alive; often getting caught and smacked around in the process. I was taken in by a kind woman after she caught me stealing from her store one stormy night. She let me stay with her and treated me as her daughter. I worked in her store during the day, but would sneak out at night to cause mischief. I hadn't had a parent most of my life that cared about me, so I caused trouble to get attention... She would always catch me and lecture me, though.. She decided that I needed a change of scenery and a school to go to, so she sent me here, to the small town I'm staying in now, in hopes I'd mellow out a bit. We still write back and forth every now and then.. I have my own apartment in the small city nearby the school, where I live by myself.

Extra Information: Ugh, I hate mentioning this, but if I don't, it scares people. Under my eyepatch I wear, I have a half blind eye, which has a scar across it. I hide it to avoid people teasing me, so I don't need to break their necks. Also, I have the access to demon strength and healing magic.

~Luthien Padme's Character~
------

Name: Drew Joanna Melinda Pond

Nickname(s): Jo, Butterfly,Melly

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Position: Alternative between dominant and submissive, depending on my mood. I may switch on my partner right in bed.

Personality: I used to be outgoing but I was always bullied growing up for how I dressed and for being a geek, so I've grown withdrawn and quiet. I'm very slow to trust people due to several circumstances...

History: My parents always hated me. They never used to physically abused me, but they did emotionally. They did everything in their power to tear me down and make me feel weak throughout my childhood. When I was twelve and my cousin raped me, they didn't believe me or do anything about it. Not long after I realized I didn't like boys; I was a lesbian. Not knowing what to think, I told my parents. That's when they began to physically abuse me. They thought beating me would make me change "my wicked ways". When I was fifteen, I attempted suicide. In the hospital I was able to reveal that my parents abused me and was taken away from them. I've been bounced around in the foster system ever since. It really isn't that much better.

Extra Information: The third foster family I was with was really kind to me. I became a vegetarian when I lived with them because of their influence in being kind to all living things. They were killed suddenly in a car wreck when I'd been with them less than a year.

Alana was walking down the street in the rain to her apartment nearby her highschool she went to, when she heard a loud commotion coming from an alleyway. She had armfuls of groceries, but if someone was hurt or in trouble, she didn't care. As she got closer, she observed a group of girls pushing a smaller brunette around.. One of the upperclassmen shoved the girl to the ground, which infuriated Alana. "Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing!?" She demanded, prompting the 'head b***h', who had been the one who shoved the younger girl down, to turn around.

"And who do you think you are?" The mean girl scoffed.

Alana scowled. "The one who's about to kick your asses up one side of the street and down the other! Leave the girl alone!" She retorted, glaring with her good eye at the girl, her other halfblind, scarred eye covered by a leather eyepatch. The head bully stepped towards Alana and threw a punch, but she caught the girl's fist and twisted her arm behind her back, throwing her into the other girls who had been beating up the smaller girl. She then picked up her groceries in one arm, before stepping towards the smaller girl, extending her hand and helping her to her feet.. "Come on, before they try anything." She said, pulling the bruised and fragile looking girl out of the alleyway as the bullies started to come after them, but fled, hearing sirens. Glancing down at the smaller girl, Alana smiled slightly. "You alright?" She asked, leading the girl out of the rain and to her apartment where she figured the girl could at least get dry. "I realize the idea of coming home with someone you don't know is probably strange, but I figure you'd at least like to get dried off and have some dinner, right?"

Alana paused. "I'm Alana by the way..." She added with a small smile. "What's your name?"

The attack took Drew by surprise. She was used to being bullied, but not like this. One of the popular guys on the basketball team had tried to get her to have sex with him recently, and when she told him she wasn't interested he began working on turning all his blind followers against her. They didn't bother knowing why they were supposed to hate her, just that they were.

It was a rainy day when Drew walked the back alley as she always did, when a group of the sluts who sucked up to all the jockeys suddenly pushed her against a brick wall. She felt her bra snap between the cups, and blood trickle down her face. She was too tiny to fight back, and in any case there were too many of them.

But suddenly, the status quo changed. Though her head was spinning, she heard a voice demanding of the bullies to leave her alone... Then more sounds of fighting were heard, but she wasn't being hit. A stranger was fighting off her bullies! When they were gone, the stranger helped her up.

She was very chagrined that her clothes were now torn, a hole exposing her left n****e. She attempted readjusting her shirt but to no avail.

Tears in her eyes, she finally responded to the older girl. "My name's Drew," she said quietly, wiping her tearful cheek on her rain-soaked sleeve. "And thanks, by the way... But I really should get home." She didn't want to go "home", but what choice did she have? Her foster family would beat her to a pulp if she wasn't home right after school. They'd be mad enough for her appearance, and they wouldn't give a s**t it wasn't her fault. But if she accepted the offer of this girl... This angel, she thought, she'd be in a worse fix than she was already.

Alana frowned slightly as she heard a slight hesitation in the girl's voice. Was she in a worse situation at home, possibly? Alana didn't even notice the tear in the girl's shirt, but she didn't like the frightened tone the girl had when she said the word 'home'. "Well it's nice to meet you, Drew. I wish it were under better circumstances, but a friend is a friend." She said with a small smile. "If you don't mind me asking, though... You don't seem too thrilled to go home... Is there an abusive environment there?" Alana began. her good eye narrowed slightly in question, although she sighed and looked up as they got closer to her apartment. "You could say I've got experience being in abusive families and relationships..." She sighed, a tinge of sadness in her voice, as her knife happy father was the reason she had to wear an eyepatch. Alana had a previous girlfriend who had mocked and verbally abused her because of it.. But they broke up long ago.

"At the least, if you have to return there, let me walk you. I don't want those bullies targeting you again." She sighed.

Drew froze when Alana asked if she was abused. No one ever even tried to ask her about it. Nobody ever cared. So why did this girl care so much? Even mentioning being abused herself... It still puzzled Drew. All she could do was nod in reply, before asking in a cracked and scared voice, "How did you know?"

Alana merely smiled softly at the girl. "I know a tortured soul when I see one." She replied in an unusually gentle voice for her. She knew what being abused was like, though. It was far from pleasant. You felt so alone in the world... Like no-one loved you.. You felt like a worthless effort in existing. "Maybe I'm being a bit too forward, but you could escape the torture and come stay with me. Granted, it may be a bit strange living with a person you just met, but... I don't like seeing people being taken advantage of, or abused." Alana sighed, flipping her eyepatch up, revealing the mismatched silver scarred eye underneath. "As you can see, I speak from experience." She sighed, flipping the eyepatch down after the girl had a chance to see it. "My father was to thank for that scar, among many others." She added, looking at the girl. "I'd imagine you're hiding some scars and bruises, too."

Drew was utterly surprised at Alana's offer. Leave home... Escape the torture? Stay with this kind, and not to mention rather attractive, woman? How could she say no? But also... How could she accept? This couldn't be real. It was a dream, she told herself, biting her lip. Nothing this good could ever really happen to her.

But, she found herself nodding. No words came from her mouth, but her arms wrapped around the woman... Her guardian angel.

Alana smiled as the girl nodded in acceptance of her offer. "That's good to know. You won't have to put up with any harm anymore." She said softly, as they arrived at her apartment. Soon to be their apartment. Her smile remained as the girl hugged onto her. Alana felt oddly protective of this injured girl... Sure, she was protective, but never this strongly. "One moment." She paused, pulling her key out of her pocket and unlocking the door.

"I'll have a key made so you can get inside if I'm not with you." She added, carrying the girl inside and setting her down on her sofa. She brought her groceries over to the kitchen. Miraculously she had carried the heavy bags AND the girl home without dropping either the bags or the girl. Grabbing a dishtowel, Alana wet it slightly and went back over to the girl, carefully wiping the dirt and little bit of blood from her face. "I've got some extra clothes that should fit you in my closet, and if you want to wash up, there's a bathtub in the washroom."

Smiling as the blood came off of the girl's face, Alana stood and stretched her back. "Do you need any help?"

Drew still felt confused, her head was still slightly fuzzy after the beating she'd taken from the girls at her school. How could this be real? Someone came and saved her?

"Thanks, but I think I can manage," she replied, smiling gratefully after Alana cleaned the blood from her face. Sighing, she sat up and wrapped her arms around Alana again. "No one's ever cared about me so much before." She heard soft sobs of relief fill her body as she spoke. "Are you an angel?" she finally asked.

Alana smiled and nodded as the girl thanked her but said she could manage. "Well, don't be shy to call me if you need any help." She replied, allowing the girl to hug her, as she assumed that she was just in shock from all of the drama from the day. Alana sighed and patted the girl's back as she started to cry. "You've been through a lot, haven't you?" She asked softly, rubbing the girl's upper back soothingly. "Family issues, right? I can understand that... My father was -- well, for lack of a more dignified word: evil." Alana sighed. "I've heard my mother was like a saint, but ..." Alana stopped. "She died shortly after giving birth to me."

Quickly wiping the tears from her face with her sleeve, Alana realized she was now hugging onto the girl for comfort. Loosening her grip slightly, Alana sighed as the girl asked if she was an angel. Technically, she was half demon, but she didn't want to scare Drew away. But she wouldn't lie about what she was... Part of her mother's magical abilities she had, but she also had the strength of a demon, which came as a blessing and a curse at times... She only used her strength to protect those in need though. If people needed to get rattled in the process, it happened.. But she tried not to hurt anyone. "Well you might not believe me... But I'm half mage with demon bloodlines. My father was a demon, my mother a mage." She sighed. "I reject my father's side of heritage though." She added.

Drew nodded in response, when Alana asked if she'd been through a lot. As Alana recounted her own misfortunes, Drew found herself rubbing her back comfortingly. How could anyone be so cruel to such a wonderful, kindhearted person? "My own parents were, to put it simply, abusive. It's been years since I lived with them but... Most of the foster families I've been with really aren't that much better." She shuttered just at the thought...

She listened thoughtfully when Alana confessed her bloodline. She didn't know such beings were real, but she didn't have any real reason to deny. With a tender smile, she met Alana's eye. "I've never met either, but I can believe you're a mage. However, I'm not going to accept that you're a demon. I can't pretend to know anything about the supernatural, but I do know someone as considerate as you couldn't possibly be a demon."She drew her in for another, warm embrace.

Alana sighed, finding herself pouring her life's story out to this girl she just met. For some reason.... She trusted Drew. The reason eluded her, because she had never trusted anyone with her past before. It was even harder for Alana to make friends, because people were scared of her. When Drew opened up about her abusive family situation, Alana felt the girl's smaller body shudder and sensed the girl's fear of them, Alana felt her anger grow towards Drew's family and foster families. "Only monsters with anger issues and ignorance abuse people..." Alana half-growled. "In my father's case, he abused me out of fear of me.. Half mage, with all the power of a demon bloodline. I was more powerful than him, but he convinced me my mother was dead because of me to keep me weak. Abused me to make me small... I found out a few years ago through a relative, that he killed my mother and it wasn't my fault..." Alana found herself shaking and holding back tears as she explained this to Drew. Sighing, Alana wiped her tears away and gave the girl an injured smile. "I'm sorry for dropping my life's story on you all at once. You're sweet to listen to my sorrows..." She said with a heavy sigh. "Thank you..."

As Drew smiled the most gentle looking smile Alana had ever seen, and accepted her as a mage and not a demon, happy tears fell from her face. She was taken back by the girl's kindness as she was pulled into another hug. Finding herself wrapping her arms around Drew, Alana held back most of her tears, but couldn't help the several ones falling off of her face. "No-one's ever said anything like that before... I'm always considered a monster to people.." She half-sobbed. Alana was surprised of the emotional outbursts she was having, as she was always so held together.

"I never knew why my birth parents abused me... I guess I was never good enough for them." Drew never had been able to talk about them to anyone... Why was she so comfortable with Alana? Even though this woman she only just met had shown her unconditional care, Drew was surprised at her own ease with opening up. "Don't apologise, it's good to get it off your chest. And I'm glad to listen."

Still smiling, Drew wiped the tears from Alana's face with her own hand. "Well then those people are stupid. No monster could be so...so..hospitable...so kind... to a complete stranger. Honestly, I've wanted to die so many times and no one ever has stepped in to stop my suffering the way you have. I could never repay that, and for that you truly are an angel to me." The words came out faster than she realised. Drew did find her attractive, but she didn't want to scare her away if she came out to Alana. She hadn't felt this safe in forever, and she didn't want to lose that.

Alana let out a heavy sigh, as she was trying not to cry anymore. Looking to Drew when she stated she never knew why her biological parents abused her, Alana looked a bit skeptical. When someone was abusive, usually they reminded you over and over the reason why whilst they were abusing you. Deciding to leave the matter be for now, Alana merely smiled slightly. "I don't see how anyone could abuse someone as sweet and kind as you." She said softly, meeting the girl's eyes with her own. The mage couldn't help but smile when Drew reassured her not to apologize for letting her emotions out.

A small frown crossed her face, however, when Drew admitted she'd wanted to die many times and no-one ever tried to help her. "I know that feeling.." She replied, although a smile re-formed on her face when Drew stated that she was an angel to her. "Thank you.." She added with a soft smile. Alana had the feeling that Drew was hiding something, but decided not to ask for now. She wanted the girl to be comfortable and happy. Bringing anything else up might kill her happy mood.

{OoC: I had an idea on how Drew could find out that Alana's lesbian. Would you be opposed to when they go to school the next day, Alana runs into her ex girlfriend when Drew's with her?}

Drew sighed at Alana's comment not understanding why anyone would abuse her. With few exceptions, abuse was all she'd ever known, and coming out only made it worse. It almost was as though that was how the world worked. But she shrugged in response. "They were just hateful, I guess. But ultimately isn't that everyone's reason, when it comes down to it?"

Hearing Alana's confession that she, too, had felt suicidal before, brought a sad frown to her face. "Well, anyone whoever hurt you to make you feel that way is an a*****e. I promise, I'll be your friend no matter what and always be here for you when you're hurting." She offered her a smile. She truly meant it. Someone so wonderful didn't deserve to feel like death was the solution. As Alana thanked her, she brought her into another hug. "Don't thank me for the truth. Nobody's ever been this kind to me before."

(OOC: That sounds like a good idea to me!)
