Kagura sat down after awhile of riding her bike. She had just got back from work and was still wearing her uniform from the cafe. It was getting late and she had to go home soon so she could whip something up to eat before going to bed. But now she was having one of her sleep attacks. She stopped riding her bike at the nearest bench and sat down, ignoring all of the strange looks she got. This was something she was used to, as a narcoleptic.

She felt her eyes grow heavy and her body felt as if it were being weighed down by led. It was happening so slowly that everyone would assume that she chose to fall asleep. Well, technically it was true. She might've been able to endure a little longer, but decided against it. What was the use of fighting when she could just surrender to sweet, sweet sleep. Especially since she's been fighting it all day, managing to only fall asleep twice. During her break and now. Hopefully it wouldn't start reoccurring too often. She needed to stay awake for school and work! How troublesome. Sheinstantly went into REM sleep.

"Eh?" she yawned and stretched after waking up. "Where am I?- oh. I fell asleep. Right." she corrected herself before asking the question. Kagura checked her phone and she'd been asleep for an hour. "s**t!" she yelled out and began to panic a little. She'd been there for an entire hour? This wasn't good at all. Anything could have happened as she slept there. She could've gotten mugged- or worse! All of these scenarios played out through her head and she almost forgot about the other girl. She checked her valuables and sighed in relief when nothing was missing. Great.

After cooling off, she turned back to the other woman. Her face was now void of any real emotion, other than boredom. Well, that's what it looked like. The truth was that she didn't smile all the time like some people and this was just her default face. "Thanks for waking me up. I might've slept there all night. Um... I'm Kagura... Satoshi... and you are?"

"The... um... pleasure is mine." she stuttered and coughed in her fist awkwardly after shaking her hand. This... wasn't the ideal way to meet someone. "Err... About earlier. I have narcolepsy. So... sometimes I get really sleepy and I just... doze off. Just like that." she felt strange explaining this to her for some reason. It just wasn't something she did.

Now Kagura just stood there... embarrassed. Now what would she do? She shuffled her feet a bit and pulled out a bottle of water and took a drink out of it. "Now what?" she thought.

She smiled. "That would help a lot." Kagura picked up her bike and draped the strap of her bag over the handle. "This way." She started to walk towards her house and you follow. The streetlamps flickered eerily in the night. It was about 10PM. She should've eaten by now.

"It's so late." she commented. "Usually I'd already had something to eat by now... but I'm just so sleepy." she said to no one in particular while gazing at the stars. They were really pretty tonight. They somehow reminded her of the nice, warm meal she didn't have and... she began to drool. "Food." she muttered and her stomach growled viciously, as if it were agreeing with her. "Bad stomach, how rude." she chastised her stomach for being too loud. It was something she did when she was sleepy or hyper... talk to herself... yea...

"Kyaa!" she yelled out in surprise and followed her to the vending machine. She noticed her putting the change in her hand, but was too tired to insist to pay. In fact, she almost felt one of her spells coming on, but refused to give in. "Alright." she smiled. "Um... thanks." she eyed the strawberry pastry thing in the vending machine. She blush and told her which one. I was something she's been meaning to try, but never got around to it.

She blushed even more and unwrapped the pastry, tossing the wrapper into the trashcan. Kagura nibbled on it with one hand and dragged her bike with the other. "It's fairly close." She led her there and unlocked the door to a tiny apartment. Well... technically it was only a utility apartment. She couldn't afford a real one bedroom. She kept it nice and decorated, though. She nibbled on the last bit of the pastry. "This is it." she grinned. "Small, but cozy." she meant it, too...
