Short Character Sample: How long had it been? An hour. A whole hour and... twenty two minutes. "Tch--- where is that ahou...?" Her words spit venom, but her eyes completely deceived her. As much as she acted angry and irritated, she felt completely rejected at the same time. He did this every now and again- got caught up in a case, completely forgot about her, something with Kudo- it always left her behind. Somehow it always drew her even closer to him, though. "It's like one of those abusive relationships they talk about on T.V.; seriously..."
She glanced up and around as the next train came rolling in, a pout forming heavily over her face. "Might as well go home, then! If that ahou isn't going to even come by. I swear, I'll wring his neck for standing me up!"
'Standing what up?'
Her eyes shot open and there he was, like magic, stepping right out of the train. She blinked, shocked at first at the irony, and then quickly twisting it around like a viper to shield away just how relieved she was. "AHOU! Where do you think you were!? I've been waiting for an hour and a half! Do you like keeping me waiting all the time!?"
'Wait-- Kazuha!'
"Don't -'Wait, Kazuha!'- me! COMMON!" She grabbed him right by the ear and started dragging him off through the metro, all the while through his howling and complaining and excuses smiling to herself. A little payback never hurt.
