Nae had something to look forward to, someone brightened her day almost as much as Noah. She had met her around about the same time that Noah came into her life and showed her happiness again. Spending time with Charlotte though, it was different, a lot different. They didn't cuddle or say affectionate words to each other, instead they did things they both enjoyed and just had fun being around each other. She had no idea what to call it but she enjoyed being able to just talk freely with another mare. Nae never had to say much so she didn't have to worry about feelings when she was around Charlotte.
It was a rather warm day and the wind was blowing lightly as she passed through the forest. Arina never followed her to meet Charlotte because she knew that she would be safe and it made her feel even better. She considered Charlotte an ally, a friend that she could see whenever it was convenient. It wasn't some sort of a relationship where they had to see or speak to each other every day. She left the forest and entered the field, it seemed empty but she was sure that Charlotte would probably show up sooner or later. If she didn't, she could just look for her else where if she wanted to, she had no obligation or promise.

Charlotte lazily grazed in the field, lifting her head occasionally to soak in the sun and feel the slight breeze whip through her mane and tussle the rose petals in her hair. It was days like this that she most enjoyed; grazing in the sun, enjoying the warmth of the day, and taking in the beauty of nature all around her. There were no other Soquili around - or so Charlotte thought, and so she enjoyed the brief time she could let her guard down.
But as she heard Nae approach, suddenly Charlotte's body went stiff. The figure looming closer and closer immediately spoke to Charlie of boundaries, of propriety, of ladylike manners and suppressed giggles. But as the figure took form, Charlotte let out a sigh of relief. It was Nae. Nae! She would not judge her for a girlish grin. She did not have to suppress herself around her dear friend.
Charlotte neighed in greeting, her turquoise eyes lighting with glee. "My good friend," she called, "How are you, dear?" A smile spread about her face. Oh, this would be a good day, indeed!

The feeling was unknown to her yet she experienced it every time she saw Charlotte. It was like a surge of adrenaline and her heart skipped a beat when she saw that her friend was excited to see her. Nae was always happy to see her and eager to start their time together. "Charlotte! I'm so glad your here, I was wondering if you might be elsewhere." She made it a point to always be honest with her and share what it is that she might be thinking.
"I believe I am well today, how are you? I mean we can't ask for better weather could we?" She always tried to look at the positives now and ignore the negatives. The positives had to out weight the negatives in her life or she just felt terrible because she had a negative view. But today was a good day and she had tons of energy that she wanted to share with Charlotte.
