Yay or Nay? I think they just accepted the gold inflation & just gave out more gold now ; -; Do you think we can expect them to raise Booty Grab cap & posting?

I'm against it, honesty. The entire reason why there's an inflation is all of their gold gens. That happens because they have more gold circulating in the system to the value goes down. If they just up the daily chance, they are continuing that. :/ They need to do another gold sink and STOP all of the generators. Every once in a while is ok but don't keep them around for so long and not very often. That'll make the marketplace prices go up a bit but it will level back out.

Night Kunoichi I'm against it, honesty. The entire reason why there's an inflation is all of their gold gens. I'm stuck at how to feel about this because this is a way for them to inflate the market with a "good" lighting on them. But at the same time, it will help newbies actually achieve some items in the gold shops. Personally, I feel as though the GG isn't going to stop coming out just because Gaia's divided into different sectors. And while one sector is desperately trying to improve the economy, the money hungry parts will just keep releasing GG for more money :c

I'm for it but I'm also against it. Though it'll help new players earn enough gold to where they can quickly buy up gold shop items, the increased payout for Daily Chance just adds even more gold into circulation for those users who don't "sink" their gold into gold shops. So now we have gold coming into the system from multiple sources with the major contributor being those damn gold generators that Gaia seems to love so much.
The only thing I do like is the increased drop rate for GoFusion charms. This sheds a more favorable light on GoFusion as a whole so it has less of a "pay to play" alchemy feel since it's now more accessible to users who don't want to pay actual money to buy charm packs. So... Yeah, I'm a little torn on this. The increased payout for DC makes Gaia look good, sure, but it's also just a pseudo-band-aid since it doesn't really help with inflation at all. Not that dealing with inflation was on Gaia's to-do list, anyway. emotion_eyebrow

I'm torn on it, too. It's good in the sense that it will help newbies etc. actually get some gold to spend in gold shops, etc. But it still does nothing for inflation and the economy, and is only really making it worse. But I can't see them listening and not releasing gold generators anymore, so. emotion_facepalm

I think Sinnto is also correct in saying that Gaia is just embracing the inflation and trying to nudge Gaians into accepting inflation as just being a part of the whole "New Gaia" experience now. neutral

Sadly, I understand all of your opinions. I just really wish that some things will change, you know? However at the same time I still feel this is similar to how Gaia *was*. Similar but not exact. In the past, there wasn't such a huge divider on who's "rich" on Gaia and who's "poor" since gold can only be made in a small amount of ways. But to be honest, getting that MC was hard pre-inflation. Just as hard as it is now, to be honest. The only difference in Gaia now is if you want to make gold, you better know how the market work or else you're stuck asking for donations, fishing, and booty grabbing since pretty much everything else is worthless.

I remember years back when the Overseer was still relatively new and it gave a big payout of items/gold, the developers put a stop to it quite quickly so that inflation wouldn't increase dramatically, now the DC has an even bigger pay out...
