you can be any character, from anything you want, as long as you stay relatively true to character.
plot:
one day, in all of the multiverse, strange things started happening. most notably, people were dissapearing in the middle of the night to wake up in a new universe. and as this person vanishes, he is replaced by one from the other universe. it's as if some god is switching people between dimensions in their sleep. for some reason, the sleepers are switched by location too, so, if, say, bob is in bed in universe A, and jack is asleep on the ground in universe B, bob wakes up on the ground in B, and jack wakes up in the bed in A. in addition, this never seems to happen while one is awake. both parties must be asleep for the shift to occur.

Design: Interior endoskeleton is composed of strong, lightweight titanium alloy. Outer epidermal layer is composed of a Light Industries made synthetic ceramic polymer that has skin-like texture. Has magnetic joints located in knees and elbows to reduce friction and wear. Legs contain air cavities to absorb shock when jumping. Powered by a microfusion generator located within his chest cavity. Traditional two-tone blue exterior armor frame also made of titanium alloy. Nano-robotic cells allow for nearly instant reconfiguration to change from hand to weapon. Variable Weapons System: An advanced form of Mega's original ability to use any tool, the Variable Weapons System allows Mega Man to adapt the attacks of his enemies and make them his own. However, he usually has to defeat them in combat first. The VWS also changes the colors of Mega Man's armor as an unintended side-effect. mega buster:a ranged weapon used by Mega Man.the Mega Buster is an arm-mounted plasma cannon that replaces the hero's right hand. It is a particle-based energy weapon that uses compressed solar energy to create physical impact. it also carries a charge feature, creating a larger, more powerful shot when released. personality: cheerful, freindly, and afflicted by the aasimov laws of robotics.

he yawned as he walked back into the lab after a hard day of crime fighting. he gave himself a quick maintenance check and stepped into the glass tube.
initiating shutdown procedures...
you may now turn off your robot.

he shook his head as he sat up. he was in a small, wodden bed lined with what was effectively a cot. the house seemed to be hollowed out of a tree. he stood up and prepped his buster cannon for combat. "anyone there?" he called timidly.
in response, a small, green-haired girl wearing a green tunic entered. "hi! where are you from?" she asked.
"light industries..." he responded.
"so, at least i know link's not hurt..." she muttered, then smiled again. "my name's saria. what's yours?"
"megaman. listen, can you tell me where i am?"
"sure think. you're in the kindom of hyrule, in the kokiri forest, in the dwelling of a young boy named link. he's famous around these parts."
"how did i gtet here? last thing i remember is going to bed..."
"hat's what happens most of the time. lemme guess. nothing after that? suddenly woke up in the bed, confused as hell?"
"...yeah. ...how'd you know?"
"that's how all the bounders are. they're all lost, confused, and cant remember anything after going to bed."
"bounders?"
"the people like you. they gfo to be in one place, and wake up in another. i have a freind who hasn't slept for weeks with worry about where she'll wake up."
"what? what's going on?"
she rubbeed her chin. "maybe i should show you." she gestured for him to follow. "c'mon." he stuck his head out the door and gaped. he was in a clearing, where several trees seemed to have been hollowed out and used for homes. it was green and hilly, and small children dressed in green ran here and there. but several people were out of place. there was a man in white armor unlike anything he'd seen before. it had black connections, but it was white everywhere but the joints. the helmet looked the most strange, with two big tubes traveling down the cheeks. and on his back was a big, black device that looked hinda like an assault rifle, but it was different. there was a man with white hair, a red trench coat, a huge sword and a pair of small pistols. there was a small girl wearing all black and a bat-winged hairpin. in her blond hair. and finally there was a small boy with a huge, round head, yellow skin, and a bright red martial arts uniform. he had nine white spots on his forehead and was doing backflips off a rock wall. "what's going on?" he asked himself.

Faris walked sround some more as sights of hills and trees was all around her and wing blew against her long hair. She turned and saw something blue comeing her way. In a secound the blue blur ranpast her knocking her to the ground. The blur stop and looked to her. Faris noticing the blur was a huge hedgehog. "Hey sorry about that..." The hedgehog helped her up as she was confused. "Don't worry about it mate... " Faris looked around then looked to the hedgehog abain. "What's your name lad." THe hedgehog gave her a thumbs up and winked as he spoke. "Sonic.. " Sonic looked around and sighed. "Have you seen a pink hedgehog anywhere?" Faris shook her head. "Where am i lad?" Sonic laughed. "It's green hill.."

saria patted him on the back. "well, link doesn't seem to be using it, so you can use his house for now." she smiled. "i hope you work everything out!" she jogged off.
"wha? nevermind. he sighed and went down to the others form strange worlds. "um.... hi." he offered. they all turned to him. whe small, uniformed one came up to him.
"hello! and what is your name, blue stranger?" he asked.
"um.... megaman." he offered.
"greetings! i am omi, xiaolin apprentice." the small one responded.
"yo. call me dante. i'm " the red-coated, white-haired boy said.
"i'm st-462, seargent in the imperial armada." came a filtered voice from the white-armored figure.
"courtney crumrin, witch in training." said the black-clad girl.
"i'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you guys aren't from around here." megaman guessed.
"what tipped you off, sherlock?" said courtney, her voice dripping sarcasm.
"now, now, courtney. there is no need for you to take that tone." said omi, shaking a finger at her."
"you wanna start something, pintsize?" she snarled, balling a fist.
"now, now, kids. let's all cool off for a sec." dante commanded, lifting the little witch by the back of her shirt.

Sonic walked with Faris as they talked. "Ye know... I stiil don' know how ye talk..." Sonic stoped confused. "Well I'm having trouble understanding you.. can you talk like.. you know normal.."

Faris contiued to walk as a ninja came into sight. Sonic also noticed and grabed Faris' hand. Sonic began to run as he almost draged Faris. They reached the ninjaand stoped and faris brushed her hair back with her fingers. The ninja looked to Faris and grined. "I haven't seen such buiety in a long time." Faris looked at the ninja confused.
