Kalisa sighed softly as her carriage came to a halt. She waited patiently for a moment before pulling back the curtain to look outide. She could not see anything but the trees. A little concerned, she opened the door and stepped outside, her white dress being caught by the wind immediatly. She looked around, staring down the streets for any sign of life.
Her heart's pace quickened as she saw her driver on the ground, blood covering his body, coming from the large slit across his throat. She opened herself to her magic immediatly, letting as much as she could flow through her.
Her eyes searched through the trees, her heart pounding.

Sieg grinned hungrily when he felt the sudden tension in the man's body as Blackheart broke easily through the platemail and slid through the poor bandit's spine and the quiver of arrows on his back. The rest of the group looked on in awe, shocked at the elven warrior who had launched himself into their camp, in a fury beyond anything they had seen. A sweeping parry brought away the blades of two who had managed to gain their wits about them, leaving an opening for two daggers, miniature replicas of the long sword which seemed to just appear in his hand, as they well might have, to find their way deep into the lungs of the men.
The elf straightened, his crimson eyes burning into the large bandit leader. "Will you all just stand in a dazed stupor? Come, that I may rid the road of it's scourge." As if released by some spell, the eight remaining men formed a wedge, hoping to use some semblance of tactics. A moment later it was shattered in a jumbled heap of screaming and gore as six hundred pounds of white tiger leaped into the middle of the formation.
The carriage was still in sight, and so Sieg stalked cautiously, eyes darting back and forth. The assassin is still here... He spun a swift circle, and was rewarded with the distinct sound of a blade sliding through black leather.

As soon as she had opened herself up to her magic, Kalisa's senses increased. She could hear the distant sounds of groaning men. She was terrified, but she didn't look it. She lifted the skirts of her dress just above her feet so they made no noise as she moved slowly around the carriage, searching for the person...or thing...responsible for the death of her driver.

Sieg had dropped the man and was wiping his blade off on the grass even as the woman walked around the carriage. Hearing a familiar growl from behind, the elf slid Blackheart into is sheath and turned towards the carriage. "I believe I detect a combination of magic, blood, and fear my friend."
The great white cat nudged his leg, pushing him towards the woman. "Fine... But if she blows me to bits, I will hold you solely to blame and haunt you for the rest of your days." He rustled the cat's muzzle and moved out from the treeline, into the open path.

Kalisa's eyes immedialy went to the man that walked onto the road. "No...not man...elf" She thought as she noticed his pointed ears. Her outward appearance showed nothing of fear, or even surprise. It looked as though this was a commen occurance.
Inside however, was the exact opposite. She held onto her magic tightly, anger building up slowly inside her as she saw her dead driver out of the corner of her eye. "Who are you? What right do you have to kill an innocent man?" Her purple eyes were filled with rage.

"And what right have you to blatantly accuse an innocent? Well... almost innocent..." Sieg lifted one eyebrow as he heard a groan behind him. "Oh? Still has a bit of life in him yet." The rune on his left braced began glowing, filling the symbol of a blue eye surrounded by thorns. Another of the daggers appear in his hand, only to be promptly released into the forest.

Kalisa reached out with weaves of air, grabbing the dagger before it hit its target. She then pulled it back towards her, the gleaming metal streaking through the air. She lifted her hand and snapped it shut at just the right moment, catching the blade between her index and middle fingers. She glanced at the blade for a moment defore tossing it at the elf's feet. "I do not believe you have answered my question." Her tone was stronger, more forcefull.

"Ah, but m'Lady, you should temper your anger for the moment. Oh, and I'd promptly send that dagger back on it's way if you wish to truely avenge your driver." Sieg shook his head, light green hair waving in the icy wind that had suddenly chilled the area.
"You see m'Lady, I do not kill innocent men. I slaughter the killers of innocent men, and no doubt innocent women and children as well. Examine his wound. I'm sure it wouldn't match the slice of a blade such as Blackheart." Sieg bent down and retrieved the dagger, only to begin flipping it in the air.

Kalisa's eyes narrowed to watch him. She had already discovered that when she had held the blade between her fingers, but she was being cautious none the less. After all, he could have more than one blade. "And why should I believe you are who you say?"
The wind blew her pure white dress around her feet, and her brown hair around her shoulders. She continued to watch the man knowing what he said was the truth.

EDIT :: A man fell from the sky. All he knew is he was holding onto something, he did not know what. But from the feel of it, it was something solid, something sharp. He opened his eyes to find a sword in his hand and he let it go, it vanished from his hand and it seemed to never exist.::
What did I do wrong? Why couldnt I save her!!!!!
::the man sapped His hands to his sides and Forced himselfto the ground, hoping toend his misery, his one true love was not only alive again after he brutal murder, but she was with the last person he though would have still been dead, the man who betrayed him and his family, his own brother.::
